A Revisit....

 

    
   Hello everyone... I want to start my blog today by saying a small prayer.

    Heavenly father today I want to thank you for all you have done for me and my family. You have kept us healthy and strong and even though there are a lot of trial our way , you have been there to guide us through all the way. Thank you for your mercy, for not turning your back on us, for saying yes to us all who repent and acknowledge your son Jesus Christ who came here on this earth in the flesh to die for our sins.....Please keep help those that are shut in and sick, I ask you to help them dear God and guide them to a better tommorow .. Those in prison please help them to see that there is you and only you that can change their lives and through you and your knowledge they will be redeem in the heavens above. For you are the only true judge and no one else can condem us. All this I pray in the name of Jesus......... Amen


   Thank you for allowing me to say that small prayer.  I needed to. It's the first Sunday of the year. I wanted so bad to be in church. I had hope that by this year I would have found a church that I can grow on. This seems to be the biggest challenge that I have encounter.... I had once been told that I was like a little girl in a candy store.... Eager to do Gods work but, as of yet I do not know what that is .
  Today as my husband and I got ourselves together to go to church we did not know where we were going, we just knew we had to go.. So we got dress and got in our car and drove down.... Although my husband had an idea I did not but, I let him guide us. We ended up going to our old church.. I will leave the name out of this because I am not in the slandering churches business but, I had my reasons for leaving in the first place...  There is still no organization as usual and you are always put on the spot, but I have to tell you I felt at home. I never thought that the day will come when I am always ready to do as I am ask in God's  house. This meant a lot for me to just be able to fit right in a church that you normally do not attend but it showed me that God is everywhere and that as long as you want to be about God you will always be ready no matter where you are.
   It was good to see my fellow brothers and sisters and I am grateful to God for keeping them healthy and well and for allowing their health to improve and kind of sorry that I did not get to see some members that I wanted to . The guest speaker was great .She had her sermon come out of Mark 5.... Before I go in details I want you to know how God worked this out. Without knowledge from me my husband this morning wanted to go to our old church. All week long I have been listening to the book of Mark. You see it was my new thing to choose to do to get closer to God's understanding so I have installed the holy bible on my ipod and I choose a book to listen to every week on my commute to and from work. Today's Evangelist that was visiting , message was coming out of Mark 5. She talked about the man that was in an island and was tormented by the devil and when he saw Jesus he worshipped him.... Can we do that? At our worst time in the world can we worshipped Jesus and have enough faith to beleive that he will make it all right. I would like to say yes we all do but, the truth of the matter is we will not. Most of us will not worship God at such a time. Im sad to say but it's the truth.......

According to a news report, Buena Vista High School recently was faced with a unique problem. A number
of girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press  their lips to the mirror, leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night, the maintenance man would remove them and the next day, the girls would put them back. Finally the principle decided that something had to be done . She called the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night.
 To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to clean the mirror..He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet and cleaned the mirror with it. Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.
      There are teachers, and then there are educators......lol

Merry Late Christmas and a Happy New Year

   Hello everyone... Sorry for the late Merry Christmas and I hope that the season has found you in good health and prosperous in spirit. I have been extremely busy with the grandkids... They were here for the holidays and kept us busy. For Christmas we spent it here as usual and later that evening we went over our friends house to enjoy the rest of our evening. We had dinner and pastries and enjoy a few drinks amongst friends.... I had a good time... Later I will post some picks I have not been able to upload my camera.... Just installed Windows Vista... I know I am behind but, it's taking me forever to figure it out.

Awesome its all I can say when I saw Prince....

                               Hello everyone, Sorry it has been a while since my last post but, I have truly been very busy and just tired to be very honest... I hope all of you are doing great and in good spirits.
      Well let me tell you about Friday, we will start there. I went to see Prince at the Izod Center.. It was awesome. My children had got together and decided that the best gift to give their dad for his birthday was concert tickets.. We are such 80's fans it's not even funny. He did songs like Let's go crazy and 1999 and Purple Rain.. He had the Funkadelics come out and Lala Hathaway and just when you thought it was over he came out with Shelia E... It was great.. I had so much fun. He truly is an artist. His voice was superb and not superficial... I would recommend this concert to anyone.

      Well on Saturday I was suppose to go to work at 6 in the morning but, I got home late from the concert and had to go in by 11. It was ok my boss knew that I was going to the concert. I know I should have taken the day off, but I work in retail there is no such thing...
    Later that day we were all sick with the stomach virus and you can imagine the rest of the weekend...

Little Girl on a Plane ( Joke)

 Here is a joke for today...

     A stranger was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the stranger turned to her and said, " Let's talk, I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger." The little girl, who had just opened her book closed it slowly and said to the stranger, " What would you like to talk about?"

" Oh, I don't know," said the stranger. " How about nuclear power?" and he smiles.

" ok, " she said,  " That could be an interesting topic. But let me ask you a question first. A deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?"

 The stranger, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, " Hmmm, I have no idea."

  To which the little girl replies," Do you really feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know crap?"

 I had the opportunity today to get an answer from my heavenly father and I am thrilled...

 Hello everyone. Hope all of you are well in health and wealth but most important in spiritual gain. I have been very dreary these last couple of weeks because we felt that the church I was going to and dedicated the time and resources just wasn't going in the right direction as it should. You see you have a whole set of new Pastors, in today's world that have been through so much sinful stuff in their lives that when they find themselves in jail searching for something and all of a sudden they find Christ, they feel like they have been saved and the way that they understand the word the Bible is the way that they need to teach it.... I have encounter numerous Pastor like this until today....
     I am so tired of God having to compromise the Bible what he wrote because certain individuals that call themselves prophets of God and disciples, apostles rev., ministers, etc, etc,.... feel that they want to change traditions. I think in this matter they need to really go back and read the bible and analyze it better with a true open heart. God will talk to those who really want to hear and have it in their heart and soul to follow the word. See these are spiritual people  and not religious people. Religious people  are those who believe in God but do not really walk the walk. They go to church and that's about it. They are church going people but not spiritual people.
    I went to a church today and the Pastor there gave a little picture of his life. He said something that really hit the spot. He stated that for 15 years he was preaching and teaching and was not saved... He was still living in the worldly things and preaching about the godly things. What a deceiver he was... Then he got saved and he was so powerful in his word today , I could tell why I was there.. I wanted to go to the church that we use to belong to but my husband was feeling not to well. Therefore I was gonna go to the one that I started going in between and for some reason my spirit lead me somewhere else and this is how I ended up in this one... I know when you pray you get all your answers specially when you pray from the heart. I was just greatful to be at a church where the Pastor truly loves God and was not there to get attention from no one except glorify God for all the goodness he has done..
     My friends I hope I have not bored you but this is just how I feel.... Sorry

A joke " Thanksgiving"

I almost forgot,
  I wanted to share this joke that I read on my bi-weekly publication.
 It is call "Thanksgiving"
       A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York the day before Thanksgiving and says, " I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; 45 years of misery is enough,"
" Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screamed " We're sick of each other , and I'm sick of talking about this, so you can call you sister in Chicago and tell her."
    Frantic, the brother calls hi sister, who explodes on the phone, " Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouted, " I'll take care of this."  She calls Phoenix immediately and screams at her father, " You are not getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back and we'll both be there tommorow. Until then, don't do a thing, you hear me?" and hangs up.
   The old man hangs up the phone and turns to his wife. " Okay, " he says, " they're both coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way."

             What do parents have to do to get their kids to visit home and pay their own way.....lol

Another Long Day.....

  Hello everyone and hope all is well. I am fine. There is so much and yet so little to say.
 I am so not in the season spirit. I think I am getting over all the propaganda that this season has become. I personally think that the true meaning of this holiday has been change so drastically and I feel so sorry for the young children today that are not taught about Jesus. This is the real reason for this season. So when I see all the people trying to outdo each other on gifts, I am really sadden.
  This was the day that the Lord's only begotten son took form as a man and came to this earth in the flesh. To save all sinners . If you were or are a sinner then you need to analyze what you are celebrating this time of the year.
 It is indeed a joyous occasion but for a person like me all I see is peopleleaving the church more and more.
 My church has been attack. What I mean is someone has allowed the evil spirit act for them and has trickle all the way to the Pastor. I have pray really hard and ask my Heavenly father to guide me. This is our second church and I am already getting discouraged. I will never stop believing that christ died for my sins and that he is my saviour and that he is Lord......
 I think I want to build a website for like Bible studies for people that have question....Wish me luck . This website link that is at the bottom of this blog is the one that I had started for my church . I have enjoyed updating it and trying to build it up as much as I could. The reason I had started it was for people like myself that had to work on sunday morning and could not get to hear the sermon, so I thought let me put church on the internet .....

Busy week

Hello everyone. Sorry it has been a crazy week for me. Very busy with the holidays. On Saturday we had a gathering amongst friends for my husband's 41st birthday... We were so surprise to see that some of our friends that had never been to our house before did come and stood for a while. As a matter of fact they all left at the same time. I can remeber the clock reading 3:42 am when I last saw it...
  I was very happy even though I was tired as can be. We all had a great time and great conversation. We shared some thoughts and food and had some drinks... The evening went well. The children, got together and bought their dad Prince tickets for his concert. My husband has been a Prince fan since way before me and I thought it was awesome that they all got together to give him something so meaningful to him and something he will always remeber. Needless to say I will be going too.....

    I am so excited. I have not gone to a concert since I was a child and my parents took me..

Wow... Hello everyone. I hope the lord has blessed you with happiness today. Love and compassion.
The picture above is a pic from my job. We are in holiday mode and I'm trying to remember what it's like to deal with people in holiday mode. You would be so surprise to see how grown people act in this festive time of the year.
I am not talking about Thanksgiving either. I am talking about christmas.
Christmas that I remember is about the birth of our saviour Jesus , so why all the attitude and animosity for nothing. That's what's wrong in this world today. I am become a better person the more I search for Christ and I understand that not all people feel that way this is just my opinion and its the choice I made but, it's working for me. So why not...
Try loving those who are the most ridiculous People in the world that you can encounter....

Sunday is it traditional to go to church or do you enjoy it?

          Today I was not going to church.
  Sorry where are my manners. Hello how are you? Hope you are in great spirit even though your life might feel like it is falling apart. At least that is how I feel sometimes.
 As I was saying prior, I felt like not going to church today. I normally feel real excited and want to go. I feel like if I do not go I am going to miss a message that probably was meant for me. Nonetheless I went but not to mine. Not the one I am a member to. I realize then that it did not matter the church that we went to ,when you want a message you will receive it. It was a great thing to go. I was so disappointed that I thought by  not going to my church I was going to miss something, when in actuality it did not matter at all where I went to as long as I was ready to receive the message and want to learn and apply it to my daily living, I will never miss a message or a lesson. I have been for so long debating with people about the fact that people in church should not matter to you because you go to receive the message and understanding and not really associated with others, but the more I learn about Jesus, I realized that this is not true. You do need to be able to go and worship in a place were you can love and respect everyone because that was Jesus's message. If this is what I want to learn then I do need to be in a place where I am allow to do just that.....Not in a place of gossip and hate and people that enjoy to hurt one another. My friend told me once, church people hurt people. I did not understand it at first until I  went through a small encounter of it myself.  Then I understood. See people see a church as a place were all the wrong in the world stops for the moment and God is being given the glory for all he has done..If you can not see the difference from the outside in then that church is not doing its job of putting god first in that house for people that need to come there for comfort. They need a safe place to go to and what more safer place than in the house of the Lord.......

Black Friday Shopping

  Hello everyone. I hope all had a great Thanksgiving next to those whom you love and are grateful to have them by your side. I had spend the day with friends. It had snow a little here in Pa and I thought well we are stuck home , but it stop and became rain. So we decided to go. Had a great time and then went to another friends home. We had two events. It was a real nice day after all. Could not really enjoy to the fullest because I had to be at work at 3 in the morning for black friday. What a crazy day it truly is. People running around like maniacs and camping out so early in the morning. I guess its all the hype that gets people so amped up about going out so early. Trying to find bargains that they truly could have found the day before.........

Thursday...

 Today was a nice day. Hello everyone hope God has kept you strong today. How spirited can we be if we do not pray? This is a true fact. I was  strongly believe that all can be done if you just pray and add a little faith to this...
 I spend the day home today. A little cleaning. Slept in a little and had a great day. I went to lunch with my girlfriend and came home. I felt like watching the story of Moses and the ten commandments. .I have been feeling like I want to get more understanding of the bible and the people that had all this faith and heard god speak to them.

Beauty only God can create

Good morning my brothers and sisters. I am so blessed this morning I woke up to be able to talk about it. There is a big difference between telling someone you loved them and showing them. That is how I feel about our heavenly father. He provides all your needs but yet he has to wait around and see if you are ready to love him back. That's crap... Let me make something clearer , if you had to pay for air to breath how much would you pay. If you had to pay just to live what would you give. These are very simple questions that I do not understand how we can be confuse and not do for the one that provides me with the main necessity in life. That is life. Today you should just say thank you father,lord, god ,master for all you do for me. How much of a burden we have been as children and still he loves us enough to send his son for the remission of our sins...
Sorry to bother you guys early but, I'm truly meaning what I say. I love the lord . I thank the lord for all he is and has done in my life. May god be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Church

 Hello everyone. Before I lay down to sleep I wanted to share a few words with you. Hope your Sunday was as beautiful as mine . It was a gorgeous day today. It was not cold and the sun was out so bright.  I had a wonderful day at church and even shed some tears to hear my husband sing. A song that reminded me of his dad. He has now pass on but, it was still an emotional moment. I just thought if he could have seen his son be in church singing like this , how proud would he have been. He was a Pastor at one time but, the devil tempted him and felt short from the glory of God at the end. Well my reason for this short blog this evening is because I want to quote you something I read about forgiveness. " When Jesus told us to pray for forgiveness of our debts as we forgive our own debtors, he knew who would be the one to pay the debt. As he would hang on the cross he would say," It is finished"....The debt is paid! There are some facts that will never changed. One fact is that you are forgiven. If you are in Christ, when he sees you , your sins are covered-- he doesn't see them. He sees you better than you see yourself. And that is a glorious fact. of your life."

Extra early good morning to everyone. It is about 4:30 am and I'm on my commuter bus ready to go to work. Not that I want to be there. But still glad that I have a job. So many unemployed this Christmas and holiday season. As much as it breaks my heart that a lot do not have this season . It hurts me more to know that some children won't have either.
I found out something very generous from a church that I do not go to. They actually have a link on their site if you are in need of a turkey dinner basket and you live in the pocono's area, then you can call or send an email to them and they will help you get a basket for a turkey meal. This is one if the main reasons I love church. The love that you should be giving to one another in time if need and in time of good. We should always be wanting to give and help. Even if it is our last pennies. They mean a lot to someone else. Offer a plate of food or a hug. A shoulder and s ear for those who need it. You would be surprise how far these things go and what a difference it makes in yours and their lives. After all is this not the way of the Christian? All Jesus Christ did for us I think in my opinion is the least we can do.
Please I beg you from the bottom if my heart support a church this season in helping families that through no fault of their own are not able to give their children a season. Go to Amy church and ask if there is s funding for Christmas that you can donate. They not only want monetary but they would probably appreciate a toy instead. In this church I know even though I do not belong to their congregation , I have volunteer to do a shoebox of different toys to send to a child. I thought it to be a wonderful idea. You send basic things like toothpaste , toothbrush, soap ,pencils, pens, notepads, tissues, markers, crayons, you know those little puzzle, etc .... These are just examples if the things that we take for granted and others find it a gift a treat.
The saying has always been it is better to give than to receive, I would not have it any other way. I will always try to give my last dollar if I could. I am able to breath and see and hear and walk and what more can I ask from my heavenly father so why not try to continue his message of love and prosperity .
