Raining

Today was a good day. Hello all today is a rainy day. When I see the rain it makes me think that god is washing the streets and feeding the birds and the ocean. Most of us hate the rain. Things are wet and mushy . You have to carry an umbrella . It slows traffic down. The sky us grey. Nothing beautiful about it but if you see it as if you are being fed and bath and given something to drink then your rainy day becomes wonderful.

Work went by really fast . I hardly got to go to the bathroom. (I always have to go) and barely had the chance to talk to my family. See how their day was.
Lord I thank you today for all you do. Everything that you provide and the things that you promise us. Only you know the place and the time for our seasons I just thank you for your understanding . Thank you for all that you are and all that you do . Even when we do not deserve things. Thank you for your mercy dear father. In Jesus name I pray....amen

Missing my Husband

  Lonely is what I feel right now... It is funny how life is. I always thought a couple of days by my self would be great . Relaxation but, the truth of the matter is ,I miss my home. What I mean is that my household is not complete. My husband had to go away to work for a week at another state so I am here with my kids. There is no noice and I feel like I am going insane. Is this normal? Am I crazy?

    Thank you for today heavenly father, the strength that it took me to go to work with what I call the worst of colds... THE FLU>>>>> Everything hurts and no one to take care of me. Not even to yell at me because I am not taking my medicine.. Is that funny or what?

      One evening a husband, thinking he was being funny , he said to his wife, " Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in Slim fast. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!"
    His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded. The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer.
     "What the heck is this?" he said to himself as a little " dust" cloud appeared when he shook them out.
     "April," he hollered into the bathroom , "why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?"
   She replied with a snicker. "It's not talcum powder, it's MIRACLE GROW!!!

    You guys just never learn, do not tick off the woman.

Picnic

    Good day everyone. Hope all is I was glad I had work. Today I had a long day at work, but I was glad I had work .So much unemployment going on. Today was the youth picnic at the park for the children at our church. I made it there in the nick of time. They were so kind and waited for me. I saw my family in christ and I had so much fun just talking and having a great time.....

having compassion

Good morning, Hope your holiday was great. Now the kids are back to school and the winter is approaching. I want to make sure I thank my heavenly father for all that he gives me and all the love he shows me even in hard times. Saying this I want to share a story that my Pastor has told us on bible study and when you read it meditate and let me know what you discern from it. Thanks in advance.... Love you all and I pray that all is well I'm your lives.. Your sister in Christ Sylvia I’M SORRY DOGGIE Once there was this little boy. As he was sitting in class one day, he was distracted from the normal every day routine of classroom activity by a rumpling sound that seemed to come from the garbage dumpster. Soon what revealed itself was a little mangy puppy that someone had thrown away. As the little boy watched from the classroom window, he couldn’t figure out what the little mangy dog was doing. Was he trying to get out? Was he trying to get warm? Was he trying to find something to eat? Soon none of that mattered to the little boy, for he knew that before the day was over the sanitation dept. would be there to dispose of the school’s trash and replace it with a new dumpster. Realizing this, his heart was gripped with compassion. Being bound by the classroom and the clock on the wall, he could only hope to be released from both, before the garbage truck arrived. Stirred by compassion that produced love in his heart, he began to ask God to give him an opportunity to do something before it was too late. Forgetting his classroom assignment, he spent the last ten minutes watching the dog and listening for trucks. FINALLY! The bell rings! The boy springs from his seat, leaves his books, hurries to his locker, grabs his coat, runs downstairs out the building around to the rear of the school, leaps into the garbage container, and takes hold of the mangy little mutt. Holding him close to his bosom, and speaking softly he says “don’t worry, your safe now and everything’s going to be alright”. Looking at the dog and seeing what seems to be a puzzling look his face. The boy says. “Oh, not me by myself, I know I can’t give you what you need, I mean after all I’m only in the third grade, But you see I have a big family. I’m one of nine children. I have eight brothers and sisters and we are all children of the same father. He’s gone away on business right now but he’ll be back you’ll see. Just wait till you meet him. He’s the most loving father in the whole universe, and my father taught us all that we should love just like he loves. So you see, you have nothing to worry about now. When the boy finally reaches home he hurries into the house to show his brothers and sisters the great events that have transpired over the course of a day. “First” he goes to his little sister’s room. “Hey look” he says. But before he could get any further the sister screams at him and tells him how ugly the little mutt is and that she wants it not only out of her room, but that he should take it away from the house as far as he could. The little boy, hurt but shrugs it off and explains to the dog, “she’s’ little, she doesn’t quite understand how we are supposed to love, please forgive her for her immaturity. Now changing his strategy, the little boy figures maybe he should start from the elder brother. Believing that if the younger children see the older ones respond in the right way they will then understand what it is to represent the father irregardless of how they feel about it. Yes you guessed it this also blows up in his face. Even going through the whole family he found out that “there is none that doeth right, no not one. Finally after every attempt to cover for his family’s insensitivity, he now see that all is hopeless and he realizes that the only thing he can do now is simply ask for forgiveness himself. I know what I promised you. And I really feel bad, I know the things I said probably caused you to get your hopes up, but I really thought my family would respond in a different way. They always seemed to get it right when fathers around. I didn’t realize they only do it when they think he’s watching. Now crying and holding the little mutt to his face, the little boys holding him closer said “I’m sorry doggie” for thinking this way, but I still believe it will be different someday. “I’m sorry doggie” to assume this way, but I still believe if I continue to pray, the day will come when father will return and set all things in order. Until that day comes I’ll stand in for him. I can’t do all the great things like him, but the one thing that makes me just like him is…………….. I know how to be a friend.

A beautiful vacation

These are pictures from my vacation . I had to show these pictures first because I was walking with my family and I stumble accross this gentleman that was giving his testimony about his walk with Jesus. He talk about how he was deceived by some religion, so he chose to walk through Jesus instead... He was out in the sand just preaching the word of God....... This was an awesome thing to see for me. I was expecting to see the ocean and its natural beauty. It's the reason why I go to the beaches... And to try to get a tan, but that's something else..

Now thank you lord for allowing me to go and vacation with my family even though it was short it was still memorable. I enjoyed myself and planned to go back next year.. You think you miss church but, when you really want to received the word of God it will find you as it did my family and me.. Here are some more pics of the ocean and my family... I read a joke and I want to share it with you . It was from our bi-weekly publication in 'our Town'.. Cajun Blonde After becoming very frustrated with the attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the young blonde declared, "well then, maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator and get a pair of alligator shoes for free!" The shopkeeper replied with a sly smile, "Well, little lady, why don't you go and give it a try?" The blonde headed off to the swamp determined to catch an alligator . Later in the day, as the shopkeeper was driving home, he spotted the same young woman standing waist deep in the murky water, shotgun in hand. As he brought his car to a stop , he saw a 9 ft gator coming rapidly towards her. With lighting reflexes , the blonde took aim, shot the creature and hauled it up onto the slippery bank. Nearby were 7 more dead gators all lying belly up. The shopkeeper stood on the bank, watching in silent amazement as the blonde struggled mightily and barely managed to flip the gator onto it's back . Then rolling her eyes heavenward , she screamed in frustration..... " CRAP THIS ONE'S BAREFOOT TOO!"

Gone home

Hello my friends and family in Christ. Hope this is a wonderful weekend of celebration as we dismiss the summer. The kids have returned to school and we are saying good-bye to the last days of summer before the winter months come. To me I have to say good bye to my grand daughter. She came up from Virginia for the month and I got accustom to her being around. Now I am on my way to take her home. Traffic on 95 is not so bad considering the Labor Day weekend. I thought it would be horrible . But to my dismay , I was shocked . I will post some pictures when I get home . I hope you are all in good spirits and good health and enjoy yourselves in any cookout that you may attend or you may be the host of. I do not normally ask but can you all say a prayer for my family. Hello everyone. Thank you lord for another day on this earth. Hope all is well.
   Today I went to see an old friend of mine. I always enjoy myself when we get together.It is always joyous. It made me realize that we dont really have a lot of time on this earth and our days are shorter and shorter and we need to cherish those special people in our lives that make a difference. So my new vow was to keep in touch more ,and not only when we have a death in our families do we need to see each other. Everyday we have is a special one........It's a gift from God

We complain when we have to do something we do not like and we expect things to happen for us even though we have not prayed and acknowledge the true gifts that we have been receiving all of our lives.. Take the time today to acknowledge the beautiful things that are in your life today and appreciate them. We can all be in a worst condition. Let's today be joyful. Let's not argue or complain or do anything that will cause us to be negative. Try to maintain a happy face. Your family is a blessing and worth to be s,iling about. Picture yourself without them and how empty we would be. Yeah it may be nice to be alone for a minute but, that is how long we would want it for ....    Now picture how God feels everytime we do not acknowledge him but we ask for everything and more......

Long Journey

Let me explain...


  Hello everyone. God bless you and hope all is well.. I want to say Thank you to my creator for giving me strength in times were I am very weak and helping me understand that it is ok to be weak because he is always going to be there to lift me up as long as I call on him... See this was a long journey of understanding for me.. It was long coming. I am 37 years of age and I have always believe that there is a God and that Jesus Christ walk this earth and save us from sin. He chose to fulfilled his destiny and died on that cross at Calvary for Us. You and me buddy...But to get a better understanding of the Bible has been a mission that has battle me and won a couple of times. Well not this one. I have to thank my Pastor Searcy, truly for having allowed himself to expose the gift that he has and that is the interpretation of the Bible, for which now I have understanding and knowledge through his gift... He has taken it upon himself to email me any bible lessons that I am not able to attend and for this I am so grateful. I take it and post it on the churches website and other people can view the lessons. It really is awesome to be able to get the Lords message this way... But ebeything that has to do with the Lord is awesome.. It is really the only time I can say it and it defines it's definition..

     Enough about me, I hope all of you take time for yourselves and have tea time with God. You do it with your friends and siblings, why not do it with your Father? I think this is Awesome....

What are we to do when you commute and the bus breaks down after a long ride that should have been 2 hours is now 3 ? Well what about this even better when you break down and get on the next bus and still have to wait because they are collecting tickets at the end of the trip and not only this but now we are waiting for passengers that got on the wrong bus.. Thanks to all for allowing me to vent and get rid of my frustration.. Thank god for all. I am glad that I serve a god that is so awesome things could always be worst. I am glad to be his child and that I am able to bring his message to other people.., Love and peace be unto you!!!

   Today is just another day like any other yet, I feel loved.

 Hello everyone. Hope all is well. Today there is nothing different about my life. I have all the same troubles and the same bills the same job and the same life... So why do I feel different. I am preparing to do my sermon that I was invited to do for my church. I was asked to speak for 10 minutes and elaborate something that is close to me in a spiritual way. I was honored to be asked so I agree. I was reading all my scriptures i something that I hold true to self  and found out that I am very loved. I have always preach to people about having faith yet I am one of those that have trouble to be totally convince. I am what you call a working progress. But I am trying so that is a step closer to my change in life. My perspective is totally different that what it use to be and I have learn to appreciate the world for what it is.
I was looking at a deers picture that I took the other day and to my amazement I wanted to be like him. I would love to be able to trust the lord up above with all. Do you know that deers have so much faith in the heavenly father. They do not worry about anything . The rains that the lord send down supplies food and water for them. The trees provide homes and shelter. They dont work and have no materialistic things that bond them. they can go to any state and be free. they can travel.

In thinking this way I have began to wonder about the people in our past and all those who have travel this earth by faith and not sight.. This is how we should be today.

After all Jesus loved you so much that he died on that cross for you and me.....

   Hello,
        I had to remind myself of today's date. It seems like the year just started and I am already seeing red on some trees where the leaves are changing color to the fall. I have not even taken a vacation  or even went to the beach. It is true what they say when you get older the time flies by faster.. oh-oh

There is going to be a small women's day at my church.

We are going to be speaking on whatever we feel. I am use to this because I use to do it at my other church. I have some strong feelings on some issues that I have trouble with and I wanted to share with my brother's and sister's. It is our first time and I am honor that we where asked by our Elder of our church... It's going to be on Aug. 11 2010 at 7 pm that I know of. And the men speak on Friday of that week.

This is what it is like in front of our yard. Everyday I embrace the beautiful things that nature brings. This is Gods true and natural living. These animals represent the way that he lord takes care of us when we have faith. The deer's biggest problems is being killed by us humans. Nothing else. They get fed by the earth through grass and drink the water by the sky. This is the way God takes care of them. He brings forth the waters that gives them to drink and feed the grass that grows to feed them.. An amazing blessing and they receive it because they have faith in God and they know they are going to be taken care of..
