Happy Easter Everyone.... Hope you had a wonderful day. I know I did. It has been raining all week and it's been cold here in Pennsylvania, but today may God be the glory it was warm and sunny. Isn't it like our father to choose the right day to shine his glory....
I complained about the church I had went to on Friday because there was no morals as to what the day was about. The significance it has for us christians. When I say us christians, it simply means those who believe in Jesus Christ and that he came here to save us from our sins, so that through him we may have eternal life. I had to specify that because for some reason people have asked me what religion is that and I have had to explain. I have no religion preference. I am someone who is tired of believing in everything negative and chose to one day pick up the bible and started to go to church and realized that there is so much out there that I have yet to see. When you look at things in God's way , you see things so different. Everything is still the same but the way you handle things are so much different and therefore you get different outcome.
Now I must say , I wanted to apologize because I should not have been disappointed. After all we are only humans and are entitle to make mistakes. All of us have our way of expressing the love that we have for Jesus and I should not have judged the church for allowing mess to happen. I put man on a pedestal instead of gloryfying God even though there was so much not done right. After all that is why I was there for.
Today I went to a church that I have gone to about three times before. I enjoy the Pastor sermons everytime I do go. We are just taking it slow because I am tired of going to churches that are only money hungry and spread there word and not the word that's in the bible. We had a great service and we had a feast afterwards. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and what we did that stood out for me was have communion. Most churches ahve communion only on the first sunday of the month, but this Pastor felt compelled to see that we take communion. This signifies the rememberance of Jesus and what he had done for us on the cross. This was a wonderful message to give today. I pray for you my friends and family in christ that your lives will be fulfilled......

Good Friday .... What is wrong with the sermons at churches on this day?
Hello everyone. I hope you are blessed today as you read and go about your day in the presence of the Lord. Let's start out with a prayer that I read and found it to be so inspiring to me....
Lord Jesus, the presence of your mother at the cross engages my heart. You are no longer only the Savior dying for the sins of the world. You are also a fully human man, a son with a mother.
O Lord, how can I begin to thank you for what you suffered? My words fall short. My thoughts seem superficial and vague. Nevertheless, I offer my sincere gratitude for your suffering. Thank you for bearing my sin on the cross. I give you my praise, my love, my heart . . . all that I am, because you have given me all that you are.
All praise be to you, Lord Jesus, fully God and fully human, Savior of the world . . . my Savior!
Amen.
I had went to a church service on Good friday. I was not very please with what I was hearing. At all.
I do not know about you , but it has taking me almost my whole life to come to terms that I owe my whole life to my living God and the Saviour Jesus Christ that hung on that cross for me. Through him I am allow to still reach the kingdom . With all that said , the passion that a church should have for this special day that we chose to remember and embrace as the day that Jesus died on that cross, should be full of life and hapiness and rejoicing. Something like thanksgiving for life and a second chance of life...This was the day that our jesus died for the sins of the world .It makes sense that the first word of Jesus from the cross is a word of forgiveness. That’s the point of the cross, after all. Jesus is dying so that we might be forgiven for our sins, so that we might be reconciled to God for eternity.
Now when you go to a church you think that this celebration is going to bring such joy. As I anticipated such a great service for the evening, I couldn't wait to get there. I got dress and headed my way to a church. The church that I initially wanted to go was unfortunately close, so I went to another. I think I sat for about half an hour out of a three hour service. That's how unhappy I was . It was like it was a dead church. No one was uplifting no one was prepared to do the last seven words of christ and the services was just chaotic...All I can do is pray. Ask God to forgive us for how we are remembering why christ die. To think that this is what we are teaching our children..
Everyday our world gets worst. Just pray as much as much you can, our future need it.....

A joke for you.....
God bless us all as we are in a Holy week of passover.
I want to talk a little bit about marriage today. Give me opinions if you like. I encourage and I like to see what other people think. As a woman who has been married for nearly 20 years, you tend to have gone through a lot. Saying that I believe in the bible. Let me explain. I made a covenant (contract) in front of God to be married through sickness and good health, for rich and for poorer until death do us part. I never promise these things to my husband. I promised them to the lord. He is who I truly put in front of my home so that I have the strength to deal with all that is coming my way..... And it usually is a lot....lol
Being this said, I have always seen myself as a very opinionated woman with my own vision as to how a marriage should be. I believe in order to be respected by your spouse, you need to respect him first. Do not give him a reason to have an upper hand on you... If I yell first , I am just invited him to yell as well. If I argue first , then I am just invited him to argue.... etc, etc,,,.... It's like opening the door to the devil. I am in no means trying to tell you to be a wuss... But all you do has to be judged by God... Jesus came and die for the remission of our sins and because of this fact is why you need to be very careful how you address issues in your marriage. Everything you do is consider in the day when we are to be resurrected in the new Heaven...Why on earth would you allow anyone even your husband to let you stray from your crown of glory.
There are so many times that I have wanted to just pack up and go but, as I attempted todo so, something always held be back and instead, I choose to read my bible and pray for forgiveness and understanding and best of all wisdom to deal with the cituation at hand that was causing me to want to leave in the first place. You can only save yourself. No matter how hard you try, your spouse has to want to be in God's presence for his blessing. We all do not get our blessing together . All we can do is pray for one another....As a woman we are built to deal with a lot. Our bodies are physically stronger and our minds even better. Our abilities to fix any problem that comes your way is a gift from God. Do not think that you are all that and a bag of chips, although we are all perfect in God's eyes. To say that you are not perfect is like saying God is a liar. Your choices and decisions are not perfect but you as an individual are perfect cause we are all made through the vision of our lord .Do not ever doubt yourself. Your spouse no matter how negative he can be can never put you down or make you feel like crap because you are perfect and you father up above loves you.
I had been married before, I was in an abusive relationship that I stayed in because I misunderstood what marriage was about. I had never read the bible before therefore I was being mistreated very badly and in return I was mistreating an individual as well. I had a way out. You know when it is a blessing when you leave the transition is smooth. No fights , no arguments . Everything is there for you. A job, a home, and your family.... The most important thing... My kids were always my strength. I thank god for them. Without them I would not have seen the light . Who knows I might have been dead by now, so I thank God for saving me.
Here is a joke after all this seriousness...
" If you Marry a Pennsylvania Girl..."
The third man married a girl from Pennsylvania. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything, but the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulties when he pees...
I thought this was funny condisidering I am from Pennsylvania.....

" If you Marry a Pennsylvania Girl..."
Three friends married women from different parts of the country.
The first man married a woman from Utah. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.
The second man married a woman from Louisiana. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day he say his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table. The third man married a girl from Pennsylvania. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. Good Friday and what it means to me....
Sorry I have not written in forever....
Hello everyone. I hope all is well with good health and good spirits. I know that you are all doing fine . My faith tells me so. We are not all perfect but, we are doing just fine. I have been overwelm with stuff and have not had time to write anything.
Tommorow is Good Friday. A very touchy subject for me to even speak about without getting tear -eyed. The closer I seek God by reading the bible the more I can see what was going on at this time. The thought of all the cruelness that we as people were able to show and enforced on a person just does not make sense to me. Never mind the fact that this man "JESUS CHRIST" that walk the earth healing the sick, casting out demons. A man about peace and love and repentance. A man that came here to give us an opportunity to see that there is another way of living life. Not the sinful lives that we were showing at that time and even now.So I am enclosing in respect to Jesus Christ his crucifiction ...... his death as foretold by previous prophets.
This comes out of the KING JAMES VERSION of the bible.
Matthew 27: 35-54
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard [that], said, This [man] calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
Thank you Jesus for dieing for my sins. Thank you , because of you I am able to repent. Because of you I am able to live.... Even in this sinful world..

We are all meant for something.....
In this crazy world that we live in, we just always wonder what on earth are we here for. What is my purpose? I always have this type of questions.. The world that we live in gets worst and worst as the years go by. How can we possibly be put in it for good when we do evil more and more each year. I can't even turn the tv on without hearing about rape, murder, robbery and arson.
My quest to understanding life has put me on my quest to understanding the bible more and more. I am trying to live by the laws on the bible. Although I know I can not accomplish half of what it's expected of me I am going to try the best that I can to achieve most. I have been listening to the audio part of the bible on my ipod and reading the rest when I get home. The hardest thing that I have found for me is to have faith in my heavenly father. It has taken me a long time to get to the point where I believe in the things that I can not see. That is what faith is all about. Now I can truly tell you that my faith has kept me from making a lot of wrong decisions.
I wanted to have share one thing that I have been reading. In the King James Version of the Bible . On the book of Esther , I found one example of a woman that was put on this earth for a very important reason. She was just a young woman that became a queen and because of her and her faith in our Lord she was able to save her people from being murdered... She became a queen at the right time. Her calling was to be a queen and save her people.
If you want to read it I recommened
this is just one of the stories that are in the bible.

Hello Monday....
Here we are another week. I am so sorry that I have not written anything. Just have been very busy and as usual no time for anything. But, tonight I decided that I had to uleash a few words and thought so that I do not feel alone and crazy...lol
First thank you Lord for another week of me being able to yell and scream and complain as only I can do best. Have had a crazy couple of days but, through the glorious power of my heavenly father , whom keeps me and the faith that I truly have in him, I am able to sigh....
First thank you Lord for another week of me being able to yell and scream and complain as only I can do best. Have had a crazy couple of days but, through the glorious power of my heavenly father , whom keeps me and the faith that I truly have in him, I am able to sigh....
Now where do I begin. Maybe i'll go backwards. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my nephew ELIJAH. He turn 16 this past Sunday. Time has past me by. You know the signs were there. You would think that after having 3 girls that are all over the age of 18 and one son that is almost there. Like 9 months away might have given me a hint. Or better yet , two grandaughters that both are old enough to call me grandma, would be a even bigger hint but the truth of the matter is that since I am so use to them, things just seem normal. However, going to my sister's to celebrate my nephews birthday and seeing all my nieces and nephews, made me really feel old. As they were all having margaritas, and sharing laughs I had realized that not to long ago, it was us having the margaritas. You see it has been a long time that I have gone to one of my family's gatherings. My nieces and nephews range from 27 being the oldest to 20 being the youngest. Then there are those that are still left to turn 18. Which are my son and my nephew. Good luck to me.....
It was all fun.... Some of my nieces came from Ecuador and we just sat around and talk about my family. I have not seen them in years. Which brings me to my next dilema. I have been looking for flights to Ecuador . My father requested to see us. I mean my husband and me. I have to try to find flights that are affordable and right now it is a bad time. I have not seen my father for over 4 years. I truly miss him. More so than my mother. Him and I are very close. I think that I miss my best friend which is what he was to me. I felt like I have lost my father. He moved years ago back to his country. He resides in Ecuador. He lived in the states for years and when he retired his doctor told him he needed to go some place warm. He did not want to be like the rest of his family and end up in Florida so he chose to go back to his country. This is the reason I can not just go in my car and take a drive to see them. I truly miss him. I just saw a picture that my sister has posted on facebook and I started to cry...
Pray for my strength and hope that I can find a flight that I can afford.....

First Day Back to Work....
Lord thank you for another day... Thanks for not letting me break any bones during the course of the day(LOL)...
Bless those who are less fortunate than myself and allow them peace and hope to fill their hearts as they get closer to you.
Let me tell you, I wanted to die. It was freezing at work today. You would have thought I work outside. Wrong. I am as indoors as it gets. My company sponsors a flower show every year around spring time.Normally the weather is much warmer. Right now we are looking at 15-40 degree weather, when normally it is 50-70....
Although, the flowers are beautiful I would much rather have the real ones that come from outside. And the weather that comes with it. Winter does not seem to want to leave us, and the snow that is coming this weekend is really not allowing the flowers to bloom through. What can we do? We can just pray for a long summer.
The flowers are beautiful to look. It keeps me hopeful that we will be warm soon. I had a minor surgery last week. I was home all week driving my poor husband crazy... I know I was so whiny. I couldn't stand myself. But coming back to work today was hard on my. It was cold and my bones were hurting . Got me thinking about a lot of things in life that I want to do. I am going to do more things in life. I do not know when my last day on this earth is going to be ,but in the meantime I want to live my days like if it was my last. I want to live it fully and joyous. I want to be remember as someone kind and with good intentions and happy.
Which brings me to my story today.
The story I chose today come from a lady who is 85 years old and these are her words as she tells them....
"If I Had My Life To Live Over"
I'd dare to make more mistakes next time.
I'd relax. I would limber up.
I would be sillier than I have this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.
I would take more trips.
I would climb more mountains and swim more rivers.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles but I'd have fewer imaginary ones....
You see, I'm one of those people who live sensibly and sanely hour after hour, day after day.
Oh, I've had my moments and if I had it to do over again, I'd have more of them. In fact I'd try to have nothing else. Just moments.
One after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
I've been one of those people who never go anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat and a parachute.
If I had it to do again, I would travel lighter next time.
If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daises.
This was a story I read and chose for me to discuss with you today. I am always complaining about something and I hardly ever look around and just be contend with what I already have. It's like I have to do more because if I feel like I have nothing more to accomplish , then I am not showing my kids to reach for the stars. Reach for the inevitable. You know the saying" THE STARS ARE THE LIMIT" ...
Yet what I want them to learn is to enjoy reaching there.....

An addiction, Let me explain, It's not what you think!!!!
Dear Lord, Thank you for the opportunity you give me to share a few words with friends and family....
My story..The one I read....
It's called " Sachi"
Soon after her brother was born, little Sachi began to ask her parents to leave her alone with the new baby. They worried that like most four-year-olds, she might feel jealous and want to hit or shake him, so they said no. But she showed no signs of jealousy. She treated the baby with kindness and her pleas to be left alone with him became more urgent. They decided to allow it.
Elated, she went into the bne baby's room and shut the door, but it opened a crack---enough for her curious parents to peek in and listen. They saw little Sachi walk quietly up to her baby brother, put her face close to his and say quietly, "Baby, tell me what God feels like. I'm starting to forget."
My addiction,
Little House On a Prairie..... The show..... I have been home sick like I told you. So I have been watching all these shows on tv. One of my all time favorites was Little House On A Prairie. It reminds me of how free we use to be back in those times. I also notice that God was in almost all the episodes. I have not really found a show in this era that I can sit and watch with my children that defines the goodness of God.This has been my new addiction. Although I have watch almost every episode this show has out, I am now watching with a different view.... Take the time and find good shows that has a relationship with God and sit and watch with your children. The children are the way to our future and I am concern if we do not teach them about the love that the Lord has for us it will disappear like these great shows.....

It's only Wednesday...
Dear Lord... HELLLLLLLPPPPPP....
I am tired of snow.It is March 23, and it just does not stop snowing. What happen to Spring?
Today we got 9.1 inches of snow.
As you see spring is trying to come through, but this morning we woke up to 9.1 inches of snow and have a snowstorm alert until Thursday at 6:00 pm..My plants do not know what to do...
Got to love nature , specially when it is at its best..
I can not believe it is only Wednesday. I feel like this is the longest week. I have been basically bed-written. So all I do is sleep and go to the bathroom. I barely eat . No appetite. Just taking meds. I am so tired of being tired. I should be happy that I'm home but, when you are use to working and being active , it's so hard to be just laying around. If this was a real vacation the time would fly by real fast.
Just for now I am going to stop complaining but I can't help but vent out my frustrations. I have utilize this time to read a lot. I have gotten more indefinite with the bible. I am trying to get more closer to my spiritual side. Wish me luck in my quest....
God Bless...
Another story from the book I have been reading... Told you I have nothing to do...LOL
This story is called "True Love"
Moses Mendelssohn, the grandfather of the well-known German composer, was far from being handsome. Along with a rather short stature, he had a grotesque hunchback.
One day he visited a merchant in Hamburg who had a lovely daughter named Frumtje. Moses fell hopelessly in love with her. But Frumtje was repulsed by his misshapen appearance.
When it came time for him to leave, Moses gathered his courage and climbed the stairs to her room to take one last opportunity to speak with her. She was a vision of heavenly beauty, but caused him deep sadness by her refusal to look at him. After several attempts at conversation, Moses shyly asked, "Do you believe marriages are made in heaven?"
"Yes," she answered, still looking at the floor. " And do you?"
"Yes I do," he replied. "You see, in heaven at the birth of each boy, the lord announces which girl he will marry. When I was born, my future bride was pointed out to me. Then the Lord added, 'But your wife will be humpbacked'.
"Right then and there I called out, 'Oh Lord a humpbacked woman would be a tragedy. Please, Lord, give me the hump and let her be beautiful,'"
Then Frumtje looked up into his eyes and was stirred by some deep memory. She reached out and gave Mendelssohn her hand and later became his devoted wife.
What a way to win a woman's heart.I thought this was so sweet. We all have to look past our appearence and really search within ourselves.God loves us all, and we have to learn to love one another regardless of what the other person looks like...

One At A Time
Father help your children and don't let them fall by the side of the road...
And teach them to love one another and heaven might find a place in their hearts, Cause Jesus is LOVE....
These are the lyrics to a song sang by the Commodores. If you are interested iit is called "JESUS IS LOVE"
I have a lot of things that I base my day by. There is a lot of scriptures that I read. None in order at all. Some songs that have meaning to me. It helps me go through my day. I am not as religious as I would want to be but I am trying...
A new thing that I have been doing lately while I'm home sick is read. The book of choice besides my bible is Chicken Soup for the Soul. I have had this book on my shelf and never even looked at it. But now I can't seem to put it down.
The story I want to share is called ONE AT A TIME...
The reason I want to share this with you is because with all that is going on with the world....
Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami
The protest in Libya and this horrible leader that is killing civilians because they are tired of his cruelty..
I figured we have to start praying for God to help us.
Here is the short story..
"ONE AT A TIME"
A friend of ours was walking down a deserted Mexican beach at sunset. As he walked along, he began to see another man in the distance. As he grew nearer, he noticed that the local native kept leaning down, picking something up and throwing it out into the water. Time again he kept hurling things out into the ocean..
As our friend approached even closer, he noticed that the man was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach and, one at a time , he was throwing them back into the water.
Our friend was puzzled. He approached the man and said, " Good evening, friend. I was wondering what you are doing."
" I'm throwing these starfish back into the ocean. You see, it's low tide right now and all of these starfish have been washed up onto the shore. If I don't throw them back into the sea, they'll die up here from lack of oxygen."
" I understand," my friend replied, " but there must be thousands of starfish on this beach. You can't possibly get to all of them. There are simply too many. And don't you realize this is probably happening on hundreds of beaches all up and down this coast. Can't you see that you can't possibly make a difference?"
The local native smiled, bent down and picked up yet another starfish , and as he threw it back into the sea, he replied, "Made a difference to that one!"
We can all make a difference in anything thing that we do... I choose this week while I'm home to go through my closet and getting rid of the clothes that I know I do not need and give it to the churches or local pantries that will take it, for other families that need them. ... It's small but it's a start. Have a bless day and thanks for stopping by.....................................................

The unemployed and Bad credit
Today I was puzzled to find out that many jobs today wont hire someone base on their credit score. I understand if you have state official jobs and banks or the treasuer department. But retail, medical and production, are you serious.
I was looking into the unemployment rate of my state. There is approximately 9% of unemployed. In my county alone that has become about 11%. I was asking people around as to why do they feel they are not employed by now considering we are told the economy is getting better. I was told that a lot of people that are willing and able to go to work are being overlooked because they now have bad credit.
One gentleman whose name I will not disclose told me that he had perfect credit until the economy took a turn for the worst. He show me how easy it was to get bad credit through no fault of your on.. First he got the pink slip from his job. Laid off back in 2008. Then he applied for unemployment but it takes two weeks to get an answer and then you get your funds. You do not get what you were making obviously so, now he is working with almost three weeks of no income. Trying to go out and find employment, wasting money he does not have in gas.To be rejected because the economy is bad. No one is hiring at this time. Mortgage or rent is due. One late mortgage payment is like being late the whole year. When the making home affordable program started, it was a blessing to many but in the process it has left your credit damaged. While you are waiting for the process no matter what you send in for a mortgage payment, it will be put aside until the modification process is done. This is approximately 60-90 days... Late, Late, Late and now your score is horrible. This is one example he showed me.
I research to see if the state of Pennsylvania allowed Credit checks as part of job employment and it does. One main reason the unemployment rate is high.
I found a few states that their unemployment rate is low and one reason is because the states have decided to stop companies from discriminated base on your credit score. If you can not get a job to pay your bills you will never have a good credit score again. Intead of judging base on a score, find out what cause the defaults in a negative credit report and I think you will find a lot of people lost their jobs and just couldn't paid their bills.Should this be a reason for someone who is well qualified for a position not get the job??????
Here is the article I found about the states that put a stop to this discriminating issue...
State Laws
As of 2010, legislation in Maryland is being considered to restrict employer's access of a prospective employee's credit history. The legislation would authorize employers to request credit reports from applicants only if the report would serve a legitimate purpose for work-related reasons or if the employer is under a legal obligation to request the credit report.
Washington and Hawaii have enacted similar legislation which limits employers' rights to perform credit checks during the hiring process. Most states that have passed restrictive legislation provide an exemption for financial institutions.
These states have cited concerns with the consequence of making hiring decisions based upon credit reports, such as the inadvertent consequence of disproportionately passing over otherwise qualified employees.
Concerns are that, during a time of economy downturn, contingent hiring policies based upon credit reports lead to more unemployed applicants who may have overextended themselves due to unemployment.
Lastly, these hiring decisions may disproportionately impact minority groups who traditionally have been underrepresented in professional-sector positions.

A new attempt to visit a new church....
Good Day my sisters and brothers in Christ. Hope your day went well today. I have had better days but, I also have had worst so I can not complain at all. With all that is going on in the world ,how dare me..
Prayers to Japan and the Libyan people that truly want freedom from all the wrong doings from their goverment and their leader.
Today I went to a new church. I was not feeling very good. I have been in slight pain that comes and goes for a few days now, but I had made up my mind to go. A good friend of mine had invited me a few weeks back and I always had something going on. Never made it. Today however with all that is going on in the world and in my personal life I push myself to go.
It's truly amazing when you need a word or a message of comfort how it is sent to you in the most strangest places. This new church is in a hotel. They rent out the conference room. It's a fairly new church so it is slowly growing. I pray for them....

Today however with all that is going on in the world and in my personal life I push myself to go.
I was glad I went. I always feel better after I go. I feel refresh. The message was simple and to the point. The question the Pastor ask was "Who do you want to be like?" The reason for the question came from Romans 1, where in the KJV bible tells you that Paul, says in one of his letters I, Paul a servant of Jesus Christ.....The meaning of servantry was not a good one in these times. For someone to choose to want to be a servant for someone , you must know you have a good master. So for this reason Paul chose to be a servant of Jesus Christ. So the questions lies on us. ho do we choose to be like. I use to want to be like my mother. Until I realise my mother wanted to be like Jesus Christ herself. A person of peace, love, unselfishness, caring and willing to sacrifice themselves for another. That's who I would attempt to be like. So I guess this makes Jesus Chist.....

A simple Gesture
" Everybody can be great...because anybody can
serve. You don't have to have a college degree
to serve. You don't have to make your subject and
agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace.
A soul generated by love."
Martin Luther King ,Jr.
Hello to everyone. I hope that your day has been great..I thank God for waking me up this morning and cherish the earth that I am a part of.
Let me start by saying all week I have been nervous. I had a Dr. appt on Friday and it wasn't a normal appt. I have been in a lot of pain. It has been increasing as the days pass by. I already knew that the appt. was not going to have a good outcome.
I had made the mistake of choosing the Mirena as a forrm of contraceptive. It was put on last year. I have had nothing but problems since inserted. My appt. was to remove this because I had signs that I might have an IUD infection. In other words this Mirena was causing me to have an infection. Therefore I was iin pain even when I went to the bahroom. Iwas really bad off.
I had went to the Dr. anxious and nervous because I wanted this thing removed and I needed something for the pain. Plus I want to know what is wrong with me. As I get to the office and I check in the nurse calls me in and does the usual. Checks my weight height and notices that I have a slight fever. So she asks me what was my reason for the visit. I explain and I find out that the Dr. that was to see me today is not a GYN, but a family practician. She was under the impression that I was there for a Pap check up. So they gave me an emergency referral to a GYN available. Now the appt. was at 1:oo pm.
The Dr. that I was sent to was horrible. I went in pain ,barely can walk. The nurse at the window who registers you was nasty and the one that brings you back in even worst. But, when I finally get in to see the Dr. I was even more upset. I wanted to ask questions and he basically told me that he was only there to remove my IUD(Mirena) and that was it. He had other patients in labor and I guess to him the fact that I was concern about having an infection or something being done about my pain was out of the question. It was like hello, drop your pants open your legs, ok good bye.... Even when I checked out the girl there was too busy on the phone as the line grew. I never want to go there ever again
A simple hello goes a long way. An act of kindness when someone feels horrible and in pain makes that person smile for a bit. The nurse at the first office was all of this and more. She took the time to acknowledge my pain. Had a conversation with me. Made my emergency appt even though it wasnt her job. Wrote down directions how to get to the other office and even gave me her card and told me that if I had a problem ever making an appt. I can call her and she will make it for me. Now that simple gesture from her heart went a long way with me. Although I was in pain placing a call to her ,I know that I would get the fastest appt. possible. This kind gesture came from her heart. I just want to thank her...... Her name is Dianne from the mountainhome Geisinger in Pa.

My appt. was to remove this because I had signs that I might have an IUD infection.

A Joke for the day"
" The Blonde And The Thermos"
Submitted by a Faithful Our Town Reader
A blonde was shopping at Target and came across a shiny silver She was quited fascinated by it, so she picked it up and took it to the clerk to ask what it was.
The clerk said, "Why, that's a thermos... it keeps hot things hot, and cold things cold."
"Wow!" said the blonde, "that's amazing... I'm going to buy it!"
So she bought the thermos and took it to work the next day.
Her boss saw it on her desk. "What's that ?" he asked.
"Why that's a thermos... it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold."
Her boss inquired, "What do you have in it?"
" Two popsicles and some coffee."
I know a little corny but what can I say. I just read them not write them...
I have always read Chicken soup for the soul. It has a lot of stories that I can identify with. I hope the one that I have chosen will make you feel a little better... I know it does for me.
"Don't be Afraid to Fail"
You've failed many times, although you may not remember .
You fell down the first time you tried to walk.
You almost drowned the first time you tried to swim, didn't you?
Did you hit the ball the first time you swung a bat?
Heavy hitters, the ones who hit the most home runs, also strike out a lot.
R.H. Macy failed seven times before his store in New York caught on.
English novelist John Creasy got 753 rejection slips before he published 564 books.
Babe Ruth struck out 1,3330 times, but he also hit 714 home runs.
Don't worry about failure.
Worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try....

What causes someone to want to commit suicide???
Gracious Lord thank you for keeping us another day..... With all that is going on in this world we just need to be thankful.....
Today I was going to call out of work, but chose to go nonetheless. I made it and was a little late than usual but made it. I approached my locker and I heard a co-worker in tears pleading to her son not to kill himself.
At first, it did not dawn on me that it was a lady that I use to work with. I was running late and did not want to be any later. So I ignore the conversation and was on my way to my floor when I heard the cries of a mother. This mother happens to have been someone who I use to worked with on another floor but, always converse with each other every morning at the locker as we make our way to our floors.
I heard her crying histerically pleading to her son not to kill himself. At this point I ran to her and embraced her because she was at the point of a breakdown. I told her to go home and comfort her son. There happen to have been a housekeeper there. Normally it was her schedule day off but she came in for overtime, she was there and she went to her locker and got her bible and started to read it. This is one of the reasons that I believe in things happen for a reason and she was there for that purpose. I gave my friend a hug and send her home..
Her son suffers from bipolar. He recently got seperated from his wife and has been suffering from depression since. At least to my knowledge. This is the second incident that I have known of people commiting suicide due to depression and being diagnose with bipolar.. The last one was the son of a Pastor whose church I attended. He killed himself in the front of his home.
People do not take these medical condition serious. I use to think that these kind of physicological diagnoses was just a way for Dr.s to keep people medicated and easy to maintain a troubled child. But the truth off the matter is that , if they do not get help early, they do not understand what is happening when they are older.
I just pray for my friend and the Pastor and hope that thle holy ghost wil come into their hearts and comfort them.

A Joke For you..........
" Be Careful What You wish for"
A man left work on Friday afternoon, but instead of going home , he stayed out the entire weekend hunting with the boys and spending his entire paycheck.
When he finally appeared at home on Sunday night, he ws confronted by his very angy wife and was barraged for nearly two hours with a tirade of his actions. Finally, his wife stopped the nagging and said to him, " How would you like it if you didn't see me for two or three days?"
To which he replied, " That would be fine with me!"
Monday went by and he didn't see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and with the same results. .
Thursday, the swelling went down just enough so that he could see her a little out of the corner of his eye.......

Rough Week....
I want to start today by thanking God for all he has done for me and my family...Keeping me healthy and nourish in his spirit is the best that one can feel.
I wanted to say something interesting today. I have been so tied up with all these things going wrong and really have had no time to blog about it.
First my darling husband tries to fix the car and broke a bolt. Then we took it to a mechanic that did not know what he was doing(NEVER AGAIN).Pick up the truck and got stuck. The truck would not turn over.. So many miles away from home we are stranded... Needless to say I was upset. So I closed my eyes and statred listening to some religious music and calm my nerves. I pray for comfort and strength and a way out. We got picked up by my daughter and bought a battery for our truck. It statred but that was not really the problem. We took it to the dealer and had them service it instead.. After all this, the dealer explains to me that all that was wrong with the truck was the cables need to be replaced. So I spend on a distrubutor and a battery and all I need was some pugs.. And a cranker sensor...
Then we went to Virginia to visit my niece and nephews. We went up on Sunday morning and came back Sunday night. It was a long ride there with all the bad weather and definitely bad weather coming home. It was a crazy weekend for us. But through it all the worst of it was I actually buckle down and open a facebook account. I never wanted to do this... But my family abroad is on facebook and I wanted to be able to see and send some pics of them. So here we go.. Wish me luck.

I want to thank God for all he has done for me and my family on a daily basis and I want to pray for those countries that are troubled and facing all these deaths and controversy.....Please pray for these people for they are all your brothers and sisters in christ.......
It all started with a little girl that met her mate when she was 19 years old back in 1992. He was 23. He took on a big risk when they started dating because she had already been married and had two little ones of her own. He had a daughter of his own as well.So this was becoming a big family in the making. They moved in and later decided that it was time to make a real family and make things legitimate and got married on Feb. 25, 1994. This family immediately had increase in size because a son was added to the mist. So now it was four children and mom and dad. Needless to say two dogs. We had lived in so many places during our first years that we never thought that we would ever get it right. In the process we struggle a lot but always found our way. I am honor to say that the man that I said I do to was the perfect man for me. It was like God put him in my path to show me that miracles do happen. I was very young and struggling, but what a difference it was to have someone to struggle with. Really..... I was always told when you get a husband all your worries go away. (ha) They actually multiply but are very different. I now had a partner to share my frustrations with and had someone to yell at when I was mad and had a friend to converse with when I needed to talk. Had someone to share my dreams and make some new ones as we go. Our lives are all but what we plan. I now understand that. I however would never change anything. I thank God for my husband because although we are not rich in cash we are rich in love. I truly mean that. All the good and bad I would not trade it for the world. I think that we are strong today because of all the trials that we went through and believe me their was a lot of it. You can not begin to imagine. All I know is that if I wanted to change just one thing I wouldnt because I would be afraid to ruin what I have now.
Thank you for looking within and taking me as your wife and becoming a family. I know things are always going to be hard because all the good is not easy. A hangover
Ok, Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well and are in good spirits for we have made another day in life.
Being that said I am going to get straight to my blog today.
At first, I thought I was seeing things. But this was just as bad as the first one. Where do they come up with these names??? Needless to say We drank this one too. Ate cheese cubes and pretzels because it was too sweet. Very syrupie tasting. But we drank it all. That is how I knew , I was going to be late to work. We did not finish chatting until about 1:30 in the morning. I was so bad, knowing that I had to leave to go to work at: 4:00 in the morning.I had no business even drinking a glass but you know how you have a girlfriend that you dont visit often but when you do you have so much to say.. So I went home and was and try to go to sleep to get myself together so I can go to work. I woke up late as expected. Instaed of being able to take the commuter bus so that I can sleep more hours, I had to drive in. And the worst part is that I had the hangover all day long. I could not shake it of... It is ironic that I always tell my staff that there should be no partying or drinking when they have to work early the next day....And I did just that drank two bottle of wine bottles.
Next week we were going to try this one
Being that said I am going to get straight to my blog today.
I went to my friends house the other day. I had not seen her or her family since new years. There has been a lot going on with my family. So as I was saying I had not seem her in a while. She had cooked some rice for a baby shower that we had put together for my boss at work. ( She cooks really good) . I had went over her home to pick it up and decided to sit and talk for a little bit. My husband and I took of our coats and the next thing you know, she shows me a bottle she found for us at the local liquor store. Her and I usually enjoy having a glass of wine over our chats. Well I was blown away when she show me the bottle. The name of the wine took me for surprise. It was call "Royal Bitch".. can you believe this. I had to look it up and find a picture just to show you.
We started talking which means we were drinking our glass of wine and enjoying it. It is red wine and has a smooth after taste. Her husband and mine decided that they were going to join us and have their manly drink. Buffalo bill bourbon. Ouch!!!!!!!. Whiskey is something I can not drink. Call me a wuss anytime. So as we are talking I realize we are finish. Just her and me. Now she pulls out another bottle and this is the name of that one.....
Next week we were going to try this one

Valentine's Day Poem To My Husband
Hello eveyone. I know I am late but, they say better late than never..........
I was beating myself up yestserday. Since it was Valentine's Day and all day you saw everyone buying flowers and chocolates and all these things for their sweethearts. I do not like to do Valentines day because I believe it's for couples that are dating or just starting out a relationship. I have been married a long time. As a matter of fact my anniversary is coming up.And this is another reason I do not like to do valentine's day with my hubby. Every year he goes out and gets me chocolates, flowers and a big card. He makes me a nice dinner.. and I just say thank you because we are not suppose to share gifts. I always explain that my special day is no longer Valentine's day but my anniversary. That was my trade off when I married. By the way my anniversary is Feb. 25th. Too close to Valentine's Day. That's is why I feel the need to not celebrate this day and wait for the day that has true meaning to me. Nothing at all against Valentine's Day, but in fairness to my husband and myself ,financially it is more economical for us to do the one important day to us. My anniversary is extremely important to me . It is the day that I became a wife and decided to share my life for eternally with my husband through the good the bad and the ugly... And believe me we have had some UGLY...Lol. but will not trade them for nothing...
So to my conclusion, I hope you all had a wonderful day and I hope you know you are loved at all times. I needed to do something for my husband since like I had stated before, I do not share gifts at all on Valentine's Day....
To My Husband, My Life, My Eternal Valentine
This is to thank you for being by side
For comforting and caring when I was all confused inside.
For comforting and caring when I was all confused inside.
Just to tell me “I love you” every minute of the day.
The way you take my hand in yours
For all the world to see
That this is the woman
Who is most special to me.
You always seem to know
When I need a hug, kiss or smile…You never cease to amaze me
When you say, “I'm here…let's talk for a while.”
In decades past we've had our share
Of ups and downs and problems galore
Never thinking of walking out the door.
I adore the way you tell me,
“You are my forever best friend,”
I love the way I believe in you…
And that you will be there till the end.
Thank you for all the time you give me
And for saying, “It's never enough…”
Thank you for listening as I ramble on…
When things become rather tough.
We are in the best years of our lives
nineteen years on our journey together
I want to grow old with you…and you with me
I want to love YOU---FOREVER.
Truly with Love,Your Wife

A movie to watch..........
Hello to everyone . I bring you blessings from our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Today was a beautiful day. The tempature was not too cold . It was around 43. Very warm for us here in Pennsylvania where the weather has been 4 degrees.... Not much snow considering we have been getting slam with snow blizzards after another. went to eat after church and came home to watch a movie. I was recommended a movie and since I love to watch movies, I send my hubby to go and get this particular one. Before I go on please be aware that I usually do not find films that I will write a review or even considered mentioning, but this movie left me a little shook. The fact that it is a movie about things that happen everyday and it basically is closer to home. I use to be a battered women many years ago. Before my husband. I was previously married and I did not have a great marriage at all. Very abusive. Not really like to bring it up even after all these years. The fact remains that this film reminded me of my choice to choose my children before the man. I loved myself more and definetely wanted better for myself and my child. At the timeI only had one.

Craziness.....
This was my view yesterday... On my way home. Hello everyone. I am so sorry I have not been so diligent in keeping up with my blog. I hope the weekend finds you in good health and grateful for what you have today, whether that may be health, wealth, or just plain sanity.
I was going to write about the weather because I am so tired of it, but instead today I want to speak about our youth and the path that they are choosing.
As all of you already know, I work in New York city. Today at work I was told of a young man that is 23 years old whom had stab his stepfather to death because he would not give him the keys to drive the family's Lexus. This argument apparently started early in the morning hours (2-3) in the morning . After the stabbing of his stepfather, he took the Lexus and went to his exgirlfriend's house where he then butchered her mother. When the exgirlfriend came home later that afternoon, she found her mother and immediately call the police. She waited outside thinking the police would be there soon but was met up with the exboyfriend and this young man killed her too. After taking of from his exgirlfriends house , he drove and went to ditch this car were he stab another driver for there vehicle. As he was getting away , there was a car double park and he hit that hurting two females in the vehicle. Killing one immediately and injuring the other. While he sped off he hit a pedestrian whom was pronounce dead at the hospital. After all night and morning, he stab someone on the train in Penn station . This time the police apprehended him..... This is one of the stories where you wish you were making it up as you go. This young man has been arrested 10 times for numerous things and one of them is drugs.. How are we helping in the fight for drugs? I ask myself this question because I have children that are in their twenty's and I still have a teenager at home. This time this guy kill with a kitchen knife so we can't even say gun control. I think that after being arrested more than 10 times , there should have been some red flags raise as to this delinquents behavior. I feel something could have been done prior to this. Maybe if they would have given this young man a rehabilatation after his maybe third offense, he would not have been in this circumstance. Innocent blood spill all over the city. It is not the parents fault nowadays. We have laws that are not meant for disciplining the youth today. As soon as the parent raises their voice the child threatens them with calling the police. That is whats wrong today. There are some cases where there has been abuse and they were overlooked by the child welfare, I feel the law does not need to change for that reason. You need more training and taking cases more seriously.Investigate. Hire those who truly care for the welfare of the children and not someone who wants to get a check. This is not the type of job for that. Stuff like this annoys me .really bad. I came from a household that my mom and dad believed in the belt. It was exercise often. In my household my sister and I were not very nice kids. The discipline we receive was not abusive at all. I now understand why my parents did it.
We were getting out of hand and needed to respect authority .... That's what is wrong with a lot of children today . They do not respect authority.... I am adding a link to the above story for those who want to , for themselves. ... Crooked landlords.............
Let me start of by saying hello to everyone. Sorry that I have not been able to blog on a daily basis, but I have been going through some things and just had no time..
As per last week my daughter and grandaughter were in Florida.. They are now home as of Friday .
Today my daughter had to go to court. Her landlord had claimed that she had not paid rent. This landlord which I will not name , had try to take advantage of my daughter. He had initially stated that she can move in November with one month free rent. He was giving her the keys early because he was flying to California for a personal matter. AT least this is the reason he had stated. My daughter has since, had problems with him. The first sign was when he was in California , their was a bad leak through the light fixture on the ceiling. It was short circuiting the whole apartment. Next the door was not shutting properly. It will get the key stuck and she was stuck outside for hours. There were field mouse. He supply no water and heat or trash removal. None of this we knew because he never wanted to address the lease. He never gave her a lease. There was no way of knowing. He would just show up whenever he wanted to and to make matters worst, he had change his cell number so everytime she needed him for damages that were in the house, she could not get a hold of him.
The last draw was this week when she had got home her roomate notify her that there was a electrical fire. It has started within the wall were the stove was, lucky they had stop the fire in time and not much damage was done . The fire department had to knock down the wall to see if it was traveling up the wall. The amount of water within the walls from the leaks was incredible...
Today in court, he stated that my dauhter had owed him rent, which she had admitted to the judge that she did. He stated that he try to work things out with her but she would not accomodate. My daughter had stated that she try numerous times to settle things with him but everytime their was something wrong with the apartment she had to pay an outside contractor to fix the job. Needless to say the judge granted him zero dollars in repayment. No lease , no pay or quit notice that has to be certify. No written agreement as to how much the rent was and , a nasty attitude will never win in court. Sometimes the law those prevail for the victims. Now we are on the look for a new apartment but happy that she is out of that one with no fees.... Watch out for nasty landlords.....

Anderson Cooper & Crew Attacked by Mubarak Crowd in Egypt
What has this world come to when you can no longer do your job safely?
I applaud this man Anderson Cooper for putting his life on the line to report what is truly going on in Cairo, Egypt. You know how tv hides the truth about a lot of things. It is sad to say that out of all the things he has covered , he had to be in the middle of such violence. This country has been in war since long before Jesus... I do not know how many of you read your bibles faithfully but, in any version of the bible you will see that Egypt has always been at war. This democracy is important to exactly who is my question... As you see when a American citizen goes to another country to tell their story, it is not welcome. Exactly what kind of help do you think we can offer this country when we have troubles of our own .... We still have declining purchases in homes, unemployment still rising. Houses still being foreclosed upon and the banks still getting around the red tape not to help those that truly need it.
Anderson Cooper to you and your staff on behalf of this American citizen I thank you for putting your life on the line for the people in Egypt, so that they can be heard.... Im sure that those egyptian's immigrants that live here in these states will thank you too for your efforts.. Be safe and may God Bless You......

Whitney Houston and Kim Burrell perform I Look To You at Celebration Of ...
I have always loved Whitney Houston.... but I , dont know about her performancne as a guest host. I always feel like when these artists get together, the worshiping is not for God but for themselves and because of this is why I really do not watch these type of shows. I love Gospel music. It is suppose to be music sang to the Lord but, it has become so propanganda that I wonder if there was no money involved would half of these proclaim God lovers continue their paths....Just a thought and my opinion.

Work on Mondays
.Good morning, hope you had a great weekend. For me it makes no difference because I work on Saturdays. Needless to say the Sunday was beautiful but cold....
I am at work now. I hate mondays. It feels like the day drags...I have been here since 6 in the morning. So right about now I want to be home. People are just browsing staying out of the cold.
I have big problem today that I want to get off my chest. I think I am going to do a community chat about it on my blogfrog. So dont forget to visit me..
My problem is with men or women who feel they have to make the child feel like a burden just because they have to pay child support. Why as an absent parent do you find the need to talk financial support with your child and not the custodial parent? I am a very understanding parent, I know that people have bills and all that, but no one told you to have kids that you can not support. My two daughters were from a previous marriage and there father decided to remarry and have more kids. Then he got divorce and had more kids from another girl. So why should my children that were born first have to wait until they are 21 and 19 to see a few dollars here and there from there father. No one told him to quit paying child support and run to another state. I guess he thought the debt will disappear like him.....lol wrong
Thats the beauty about the child support office. They will find you. I hope none of you have to deal with this and I can help but feel bad about my mistake for not choosing a better father for my children. Now for the rest of their lives they have to feel like a burden. I hope they now I love them and truly that is what matters. I found a good man that help me with them. He provided and was their daddy. I know it bothers my girls to know that their father really did not care for them. I just pray that they heal in time.....
