   Hello,
        I had to remind myself of today's date. It seems like the year just started and I am already seeing red on some trees where the leaves are changing color to the fall. I have not even taken a vacation  or even went to the beach. It is true what they say when you get older the time flies by faster.. oh-oh

There is going to be a small women's day at my church.

We are going to be speaking on whatever we feel. I am use to this because I use to do it at my other church. I have some strong feelings on some issues that I have trouble with and I wanted to share with my brother's and sister's. It is our first time and I am honor that we where asked by our Elder of our church... It's going to be on Aug. 11 2010 at 7 pm that I know of. And the men speak on Friday of that week.

This is what it is like in front of our yard. Everyday I embrace the beautiful things that nature brings. This is Gods true and natural living. These animals represent the way that he lord takes care of us when we have faith. The deer's biggest problems is being killed by us humans. Nothing else. They get fed by the earth through grass and drink the water by the sky. This is the way God takes care of them. He brings forth the waters that gives them to drink and feed the grass that grows to feed them.. An amazing blessing and they receive it because they have faith in God and they know they are going to be taken care of..

Nightmares

Nightmares come in all categories. Good morning everyone. It's about 4:18 am. I know you are probably thinking what in the world am I doing up but I have a good reason.. I have to go to work. I commute everyday to work so this is normal for me. Nightmares begin when your bus you have to take is late. Number 2 when it does not even show up. Number 3 when the next one is late. It has to be a nightmare ,what else can you call it.

On another note, I had a wonderful experience at church yesterday. The word was abide by the vine.Without the root the vine can't grow branches and produce good fruit. This is how we are towards are lord and saviour Jesus Christ.. Our learning and wanting to be Christian
like is an everyday battle that we must fight. In the
end their is a special seat for us but not until we abide by the vine. For those of us who truly believe
that their is a better place than the one we have here
on earth. You can not possibly think that this is it.
This is not the reason why Jesus died on the cross. He
died to give us an oportunity of salvation , so that we can repent and go to the heavenly kingdom that awaits us.. The ride heir is very hard but the word the Elder presented us with was abide by the vine and that my brothers and sister we must do...

  Hello. This weekend was a full weekend. We drove down to Virginia and back in time for our Friends and family event at our church. I left at midnight on friday almost Saturday and had the retirement party on Saturday at 4pm. To over sleep and get back late on Sunday for our event at church. Nonetheless it was nice....

After all that driving we manage to make quite a few stops and hotel stays but I was never so glad to go home.

day. As much as we had sacrifice a trip like this it was well over due.My kids have grown so fast.

and the last time that we all went together to the amusement park was when the were smaller. Now they

live on their own and have children and their own lives. I guess you can say we did ok as parents.. I guess and also it shows God's many blessing that we forget to count . It was once told through the book of Genesis in the bible that Abraham our forefather was to be bless and multiply and I believe that I am his child so as long as I am bless my seed will multiply. It was a covenant that God had with Abraham.

She now resides in New york and we live in Pa. So it's a little tough to have get togethers.

This is Jessica. My oldest and that little one you see is my lovely Jenelle. My grandbaby. Oh my god she is something else. I remember when they were all so little. Like it was yesterday.  I have some good memories. And some terrible ones too. But , I like to focus on the good ones and pray that my children never have to experience what I had to.

And this is my husband and my son... Nothing else to really say there. I had a good time at the park wish I was a Disney or something but nonetheless I had fun...... This is what family is all about.

Lord give me a reason not to give up!!!!!!

Hello everyone . Hope you are all in good health and spirits.
                                        I have a few words to share with you today. I was at church and really did not want to go . My tooth has been bothering me and so I was I guess using that as an excuse not to go. But something push me out of the door. I was so ever greatful to go and listen to the message that the Lord sent to me through my Pastor. So many of us look at those people that are not living right and are prospering abundantly and they seem to need nothing. Have all they want and take vacations and all these things that some of us wish we were one day going to be able to go , but the message I got today was that the more things that we want like those who are not living right , the more we are going to accept the end result... Let me explain because I just lost a lot of you.. In your bible and it does not matter what version of it you have the message is still the same. In Luke Chapter 16 verses 19-31 it talks about a man name Lazarus and a rich man. The rich man had it all fine clothing, cars money , he had everything materialistic in the world possible and did not need nor desire nothing because he had it. Like my Pastor told us in today's world we would say "He had it going on, he was bling out" . And there was Lazarus a beggar with bruises and sores whose desires where to have some of the crumbs of the rich man... As my Pastor stated to us this rich guys crumbs could be a Lexus instead of the Lamborghini or his 5 bedroom house instead of the mansion that he currently resides or instead of the rolex the crumbs could be a Movado watch...Time had past and they both past on.
    The beggar (Lazarus) died and was carried by the Angels into Abraham's bosom and the rich man also had died and was buried.. And when he awoke he was in hell. He could only see Lazarus in Abraham's bosom from afar.. That means that he was a distance and not at arms reach. 
       Sometimes when we live in  the world and desire all these things and seem not to get them but we are living right, it will be in our eternal life that we will suceed,but wanting all these things and living in the wrong will only get you to were the rich man got and that was in eternal torment fire.... All the good things are yet to come in our lives is knowing and having patience that makes the difference and better yet... Faith...


     Love one another be compassionate to one another.....Care for one another is the reason that Jesus Christ die for us... He obey his destiny and fulfilled it and that is why you and I ca sit here today and discuss these matters..

This is a resemblence of the cross that Jesus Christ die on for our sins.......

We owe him all but, the least that we can do is start by reading our bibles. Go to church get a better understanding of the Lords work for us here while we are in earth. Is what Jesus was  trying to teach us about the kingdom of heaven...

Family fun

Today was a good day for us. Many thanks to my
creator for allowing us time to spend together as a
family. At the end of the day that's all we have.
Nothing really matters and it's nice to come
together and remember the good times.. Even though it
seems like so few..

My kids and I went to dorney park yesterday. We
had so much. It's in Pa. If you ever have a chance
to go do so. We bought our tickets online and we
paid 34.99 per person and we got two parks for one
because they also have a waterpark that's included
on the price.. I had a ball.
On another note I am ery excited because this
month is a very busy one for us as a family.
My mother-in-law is retiring and we have her party
on July 17th. Another family event. And July 18th
my church has their friends and family annual function
at the firehouse. I want to thank Bob and his staff
from our local distribution publishing for advertising
our church andur events for free for us. In caseyou
were wondering, we have a bi- weekly free hometown
booklet that advertises what's going on in your town.
The booklet is name" our town" and it's wonderful
And I just wanted to say thanks on behalf of my church...

  Hello everyone. I found out today something that I already knew but, somehow I forgot. You know when you ask the Heavenly father for help, it does not always come like you expect it but how he sees it more fit for your cituation. I have a bad habit of asking for specific help and in return he gives it to me his way and sometimes Im anger cause I did not realized that he had help me.
  A friend of mine discussing her cituation to me today help me put things into perspective. We were talking about how sometimes we ask for help and dont realize when he has sent it to us. So it was interesting to lnow that some of us think the same way.  I was looking at siome pics of when we took our daughter to college out in california. Just to be able to see nature sees things different

    On another note, I have lost some weight. I now weigh 128. So my diet is doing great. I am so happy there. I exercise as much as I can and try to eat normal and  before 7 pm . I do slip sometimes but i try to make it up. My grandaughter has been staying with us. She is getting so big and so attach to us. I hope my daughter does well for herself and my grandchild. She deserves the best.

Stop looking for blessings you are already living!!!!

    Hello everyone. How are you guys and girls today? I am blessed as usual. I have another story of how good GOD is to me. He has seen me through so much it makes me want to cry at times and believe it or not I do. I am 36 years old and I cry at the greatness that the Lord has provided for me. Really who wouldn't.
When you understand what God has done for you through the years, you feel so honor that he has kept you for so long.
     Sometimes when I feel at my worst , he shows  up and shows me how great he truly is. I love him so much for that.
    Yesterday I had some bad news in regards to my house. It has been a tremendous headache for me to keep this house. I mostly do it for my family because if its for me I would have been left. The mortgage company gives you such a hard time to modify a loan, I wonder why do they even bother to make believe all these programs are there to help when in actuality they are there to cause you more finacial burden and a bad headache because of all the un neccessary paperwork. But let me tell you how good the God I serve is...
     Call me crazy if you like I do not care. He always sees me through even when I have doubts when I shouldn't. I had received my payment back from my agreement that I had made with the mortgage company and base on this agreement I have to make sure that my payments were never late. Well let me tell you these people send my payment back to me because it was not in the form of a cashiers check. I sent a personal check. I had in the past send my payments western union, but I did not want to spend an extra 16.95  when I have an account. I email the modifier and she investigates and gets back to me. I can send it in and I would not be penalize for it being late because it is not my fault.   Yeahh for that cause I was about to call it quits. I dont know how much longer i am to struggle. But pray for me.....

A troubled mind

   Hello everyone. Hopefully you are better than myself today. I just feel real depress like my life is coming to an end. Since yesterday I have been listening to Michael Jackson since it is his first anniversary since passing on June 25, 2009. I thought it was a beautiful thing that kiss 98.7 in New York fm ,play all his music all weekend long. I really enjoyed myself.
 It reminded me of my youth. All the fun things that I did and how at the time I could not wait until I was old enough to be out on my own and here I am wanting to be little again. I would definitely listen to my parents if I could ever go back to the past. I would finish  school and I would not be so quick to want to grow up so fast. EVER.
     I find myself everyday with more and more problems and no real solution.

    On another note, I still weigh 131.2 and im still fighting this diet. I am determine that I am going to be 115 lbs. again. So I am watching real careful what ever I eat and trying to eat small portions.

Summer is finally staying

   Hello everyone. What a hot day? It was very muggy and hazy and super sunny. Perfect beach weather. However most of us have to work . Good calling in sick day.

   I have been working on a website for my church. I'm very excited about it but, it seems that other people have taken to slander the thought that I wanted to help people like myself that could not make it to church or bible studies to be able to read the lesson for the day given by th e Pastor.

Good morning, thank you father for giving me another day to be here in this world. I love the Lord and the sacrifices that he has made by allowing us to have a reedemer..

Today I'm a little troubled, first let me explain for those of you who have been reading my blogs you know I have change churches . I started to ho to another church once I found out that the pastor of the one I was going to was basically addicted to pain meds. And a whole lot of stuff. Now I found a new one. Really like to hear the pastor preach but, there are so many peole talking negative about him and other members of the church. I have never been the type to listen to no one eldest opinion about something because I like to figure things out for myself. That's the choice that was given to me when JESUS die on the cross for me. The reason I'm troubled is because we spend a year at the other church and I felt like I lost a lot of time learning the bible. I do not want to loose anymore. So I'm puzzled. Should I stay or move on???? I really do like this church , but I guess I'll pray and hope for the best... Have a bless day..

 Hello to everyone who's taking the time to read this blog. I want to thank my heavenly father for keeping me alive another day. I went to church today and it was a very inspirational service. Even though it was a few of us there today. I received my message. "Just do what you can do" that was the title of our service. It meant to do the least and don't worry about the most. You can start out by accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour and stop worrying about getting to GOD. So do what you can do . Go to church, love your neighbors, help in any way that you can as long as its in your power to do so. It's the Christian way. It was the reason that we have salvation today. His sacrifice was an eternal gift to us. He was the last offering that we gave our Heavenly father. You see in olden times as in the Bible, people use to get a young ram and burn it and offer it to GOD, but our last young lamb that we offer was Jesus Christ and that's why you owe all you can to him. Someone chose to die for you before you were even born, and you think that you don't owed them at least a thank you. The least you can do is praise him , thank him, listen to what he has left written in the New Testament part of the bible. These were people that were there to witness. You mean to tell me that you will believe all the social studies of history that we have but, you can not believe certain parts of history from the bible. What makes these books so different? why are they so controversial? why do these facts of the past cause people to think so hard? Why not just believe, accept and love it all? My sister's and brother's in christ take some time for yourself and get into whatever get's you closer to God. Give him some time and you will notice a great deal of change in your life. Nothing that is good is easy, It's always going to be hard work but at the end it is all worth it...................

What a morning !!!!!
Hello everyone hope ur day is great so far. Work, work, work that's what it's all about today for me. Whether it's with my kids or my job or with my church . I love my life. I thank God for it. I'm so inspired by ally surroundings. Makes me want to do right. Make good decisions not bad ones. My destiny if I walk the right way has been writing. It's up to me to not stay in the narrow path and change it. That's where all the mistakes come from. Not walking straight but taking those wrong turns.

A FUN DAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

 TODAY WAS A  REGULAR DAY LIKE NO OTHER. I WENT TO CHURCH AND RECEIVED THE WORD THAT I WENT FOR BUT, NOT AS POWERFUL AS I AM USE TO. IN ANY REGARDS I WENT TO THANK THE LORD FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR ME. THERE IS A LOT OF WISDOM THAT I HAVE RECEIVED FROM HIM IN SUCH A SHORT TIME SINCE I HAVE DEDICATED MYSELF TO HIM. I LOVE GOING TO CHURCH AND BIBLE STUDY. I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE  FOR THE LORD THAT  I WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE AND ITS MANY DIVINE SECRETS AND MEANING THAT IT INTRIGUES ME.

 ENOUGH ABOUT CHURCH, MY SISTER WAS HERE YESTERDAY AND TODAY. WE ACTUALLY HUNG OUT TILL A LITTLE PAST MIDNIGHT AND HAD A COUPLE OF DRINKS. WE PLAYED CARDS AND JUST TALKED ABOUT THE OLD DAYS AT HOME WITH MY PARENTS. IT WAS VERY NICE.....
 ON ANOTHER NOTE, I WANT TO THANK MY FRIENDS FOR THINKING ABOUT ME WHEN I HAVE TOTALLY LOST MYSELF. I HAVE BEEN ON THIS DIET THAT I KEEP GOING UP AND DOWN,. I HAVE BEE 132 AND 133 FOR A WHILE NOW. I KEEP TRYING TO EXERCISE BUT, I THINK I NEED TO DO MORE.
   I HAVE NO GOOD JOKE TODAY BUT , I WILL PRAY FOR YOU GUYS TODAY AND I WILL SEE WHAT I CAN DO TOMMOROW......

Let me start by saying thank you Lord for all you do. All the true miracles in life.

I hope everyone had a great memorial day. It is the start of our summer. I had so much fun. Although I am not a good host, I manage to entertain pretty ok. Some of my friends came over for a barbecue and we had a few drinks.. It was our first barbecue with people other than our family. Well overdue.

I am so glad that we got to share a full day with friends .

These are a few pics of our Memorial Day cookout. It was a beautiful day here in Pa. The weather was about 90 and the pools were open. The perfect day to go and start off the summer. My church family came over and some neighbors to help celebrate Memorial day and reminise on the past times. It was a joyous time for all. I'm glad.

   On another note today I weigh 132.4. I have not lost much but, I have not gain any either. That is good. Work was rough but, it always is. If not it is not work. God Bless until tommorow....

NEW LIFE FAITH TEMPLE

      This is my new church. I found this church through a very good sister of mine. I am so eternally greatful to her for accepting me back into her life. You see ,we use to attend another church before together and she took notice of the greed and wrong doings before I could and needing to continue her walk with GOD she came to this church and has been there since. Her joy and happiness everytime she talked about her church took me by surprise for you see I was getting to the point were I did not want to go to church anymore. My heart told me different and since I loved the Lord with my heart and not my mind , My heart was set to find another church to attend and get back on track so that I can receive the word from the LORD.  The message is why we go to church. To get a better understanding of why we struggle. We need to believe that there is something better than this that we are searching for.
   I have never felt like helping a church achieve as much as this one. I never have felt the need to do all I can for a church. But, you see what I am learning in the short weeks that we have been attending, is that when you want to work for the Lord it has to be voluntary. No one should make you feel like you are obligated to do something. You have no obligations to know no one but, yourself. When you are not obligated and you choose to do things, they are at free will and they come from so much love. Their is nothing I would not do to help this church get bigger and spread the word from our almighty father. We as christians ,believers of christ, have an obligation to help fulfill what Jesus Christ started here with his healing and peace ministry. His sacrifice for our salvation, is all we need to want to continue to help others. To love one another no matter what. We need to heal this world that today is filled with so much violence and hate.
  A perculiar theory is what I learn at bible study on friday night. I was late but, GOD saw it fit for me to go and learn a lesson. What I learn was this. In the bible it states that God so love us he would let us try again and again and again and again until we get it right. Not like us that have no patience. When he put Adam here on this earth, he told him he could eat from all the trees except one.  Adam did not obey and ate an apple from the forbidden tree.
 Next we have Noah whom was told to bring in two pair of animals and all living creatures that were clean and his 3 sons and their wives and his wife. Then as we understand the bible it tells us that he brought in two of other people. That was mistake number two. Now we have the first king of Israel Saul. Good old King Saul was told to obey GOD and kill the Amalekites and all their animals and evrything there. He killed everything except an oxen and a `sheep and kept it. So now we have three people send by God to obey his law and we could not do it. There's a whole lot of people throughout the bible with the same story of disobedience. Until Jesus Christ came and eneded the fall of man. He actually obey the Lord's word and did exactly what he was sent to do. How many of us here today can say that?
   My message to you guys and ladies, is love one another, take care of each other. Life is very short .

are my nieces and my very best friend . She is like a cousin. The one in the middle is my friend Franciny. The other two are my nieces. Vanessa to the left and Melissa to the right. They are going to visit me next week. I am so excited. None of my family has really been here in the Pocono's to visit me. I  am so excited.

   Anyway, Hello everyone. I was not able to Blog yesterday. Really nothing to say. Today I weigh 132.2, and I started the Tae-Bo tapes That I have stated before. I past the instructional one and now I have reach the basic one. So wish me luck.
  I really have been trying to watch what I eat but, I fell off the wagon the other day . I ate icecream at bedtime and yesterday I had 2 lollipops of chocolate. Not Good. But I am a working progress. Don't be mad. Pratice does make perfect and I am working at it.

Here is my girls and my sister with me. This was taken at my oldest baby shower almost a year ago.

So much has happen in such a little time. I will eventually take a new picture of me and see what my results are as far as my weight loss.

Today's inspiration for me is to give myself more time to the Lord in the books that I read. I need to take more time to and just turn everything off and enjoy the beautiful stories that was written for me to see what has happen in this world and what has been written that is going to happen in the future.

I recommend that you read Psalm 27 in it's entirety , this psalm is an inspiration to me when I'm down and when I'm happy.

MONDAYS UGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  As if monday's are not horrible as it is.  Thank you lord for my day.I have a habit of ranting instead od being greatful for my life first. Always with the negative. That is how we live our lives. Then we wonder why we struggle so much..
  Back to my job., After working hard to try to make my figures for the month and re merchandising the floor all week long, I had to move everything again today. Today was suppose to be a soft day for me . I was totally mistaken. I had to refixture the floor . Make pyramids of t-shirt and fold over 500 pair of jeans. Not a good day . I'm exhausted. I weigh today 132.4 and struggling again with food. I ate a snack bowl from kfc. That is chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and corn all in one bowl top with cheese. And for dinner a cucumber and tomato salad with red wine vinegar. This morning I had a lean body protein shake and a banana, and for a refreshment ,I've been drinking AZUZE. The slendreize kind and it only has 10 calories.
  I'm doing ok health wise but, my stomach keeps growling. Ive been stuffing grapes to fill me up. Wish me luck as I continue to battle my diet....

Diet

I almost forgot. I this morning did my normal exercise. I was a big girl and even took out the old Billy Blank Tae bo vcr tapes that I have hidden. Oh My God only he can help me through those tapes. I thought I was gonna hurt all over but, to God be the glory I do not. I ate chicken breast and some pasta with garlic and tomatoes and taragon....Very delicious. weight this morning 132.8... This was my lunch and meal for the day. For breakfast I had some grapes and a banana shake. I mean only banana's and milk. ughhhh no sugar . I going to try to eat chicken stew for dinner..

God is Good... All the time...

Hello everyone. Thank you Lord for allowing us to find our way back to you..

This man up here is my husband Michael. He was invited to sing today to the new church that we have been attending. I love to hear him sing even though he doesn't really know it. When he sings I feel so uplifted and it puts tears in my eyes to see how God works through him . He is normally a shy and timid person but, when he sings for the Lord their is no shyness and you can see he gets a spirit within himself. He seems to find peace. He reminds me of the young Michael I married. We have been married for 18 years and have been through a lot.  I fell in love with his voice. He has an ability to put me at ease when he speaks. It has such comfort that it is hard to describe. I am so thankful to God for him , to send me my comforter that not only is my husband, but he is my very best friend.. We can literally talk about anything ,even girl stuff that he sometimes does not want to listen but,as a good husband that he is , he just listens.. I love him for that. ..

 Today I went to church. I have been attending a new church call "NEW LIFE FAITH TEMPLE". That is exactly what it is. A new form of uplifting faith.I am so anxious now to go to church. I have never known such a gratifying spirit as the one I received when I go to this church. Don't get me wrong, I have been a member to other churches and my last church was a starting ground for us ,but spiritually we have gone all that we can and we were seeking more. You see when you want to received the word from God, you go anywhere to get it. Even in places you never thought that you would find yourself at. I give thanks to God for being patient with me and having the faith in me to find him. You know it is funy that is what our service was about today.

In Matthew 6:30- finish. It talks about how little faith we have. We are so busy in trying to worry about things that have yet not arise.  We have no time to give God, and have the  faith and patience that we should. I am not going to lie to you. I did not have a good amount of faith either. I struggled with giving money to any church when I was struggling myself. Having faith has put a different perspective in life and I do worry but, not as much as I use. I am what you can call a working progress. I pray and give thanks everyday to the Lord for allowing me all the blessings that I have aquire through his mercy and hope I gave you guys words of encouragement and hope your day is as good as mine.. If not send me an email and I will pray for you , for you see I do not have to know you or your circumstance in order for me to pray for you. What a Hectic day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord what a day. First of all let's start by giving thanks to my heavenly father for giving me another day. I'm so eternally greatful for the good and bad in my life... Yes I said it the BAD.. I know that there is no testimonies without the test. For those of you who do not understand me, what I am trying to explain is how can you give advice to someone if you yourself have not gone through that . You can only give an opinion and words of encouragement about the cituation . You have to have gone through bad things in your life and over came it and came out better than before ,for you to be able to tell your story. That is a testimony...

Well my diet is a struggle. Today I ate for dinner a broiled steak and a salad with red wine vinegar instead of dressing. I am trying to stay on a 2000 calorie or less diet. I have lost 6 pounds so far since I started this thing. I am increasing the amount of times that I excercise a week and definetely back away from candy..My weight right now is 131.2. I started at 137.8 , So I am doing ok.

Work was a little crazy. It got busy and I try the best that I could to get the floors to look decent. It is very hard to merchandise a floor , when your two bosses have a different opinion...Nonetheless , I still have to do my job and satisfy both... So that is what I did today.

 This is my baby girl. Her name is Michelle. I am so proud of her. She has sign her first apartment and she is so excited. Way to go Michy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As a mom you only want the best for your kids. Both of my girls are making it and they are trying really hard to go to school and get a career so they do not have to struggle. Pics of my other girl will come soon. I have none on this computer to upload.

Horrible Feelings?

This is my youngest grandchild she is now 1. Her mother my oldest child has officially learned a way to make me feel even worst than ever. Today is her 21st birthday. I feel old . Really old and fat. You know how I know i'm getting old, because it is taking me 4 weeks just to loose 4 pounds.
Today I had grilled porkchop and spring mix salad. Very tasty, but i'm still hungry. I also did my exercise. I think that I'm ready to start increasing it to 4 times a week and make the sessions longer.
My husband and I have been trying this new church to see if we like it. So far so good. But we will see. We were once convince that the church we found was the one for us but, it turn out it was not. What a disappoinment, but life is full of them. It does not stop me from seeking God and what I'm meant to do in this world.
Work suckkkkkk. I can not explain it any simpler than that.

Good day all.

Hope your day is better than mine. I can not get my Internet to work , so I have not been able to blog......The scales this morning says 133lbs. I have been in this diet but, have not been able to loose no real weight. My age is officially catching up to me.

Today my oldest child turns 21 years old. How old I feel. Happy birthday sicca. I call her sicca but her name is Jessica. When she was little there was a stripper by that name so it became her nickname since she was always taking her clothes off....

Work sucks I can't wait to go home.

hello to everyone today... Thank you most gracious father for getting us all up and blessing us with another day of life.
Nothing great about my day . My boss came from her vacation and we remerchandise the floor . It kept me busy . The day went by fast.
My husband had left to Va, to take our daughter Ashley and grandbaby Kamari,

She is the big girl you see here. I already miss her. She has the cutest smile and I love how caring she is. With such genuine love. I guess I won't be seeing her for a while.
Today I weigh 132 this morning but when I got home I weighed 134.8. I think it was the 2 piece chicken I ate coming home from work. It was fried too. So I have to do double the excersise today. Or drink more tea..
I'm off to cook some rice and pepper steak for my kids with a nutrious salad for me... yummyyyyyy.....

Trying new things...

Today was a wonderful day. First we went to church .Giving glory to God should be a christians first priority. It is so important to say thank you for all he has done for you .Everything you do and are is all because of the Glory of God. Today's word from the Pastor whose church we went to today was "get up". In life God has told us that many times we will fall down and sometimes be knock down but, Get Up. That is the difference that we can make within ourselves. God said he will not forsake us therefore, the challenges that we go through, take them for what they are and that,s just a knock down, so "Get UP". In Jeremiah 46:3-4 , it tells us that we should get our armour and shield and prepare for the battle . Get up ye horsemen and stand forth.

I went to a new church and it was wonderful and inspirational. When you thirst for the word of the Lord , you want to continue to pursue and be fed. We feed our bodies with food we also need to feed our souls as well. I have been praying aggressively for the Lord to show me the way. I am a sinner with a big heart for Gods attention. I want to live by God's law and not man made law. Let me explain , if I can obey the laws of the world that has been given to me by the goverment, why can I listen and obey to the laws of our Lord and saviour. He is the only man that shall put fear in my heart. To love and live like Jesus is probably the hardest thing to do. If you have faith and love your saviour it becomes the easiest. Faith is something that a lot of people lack, don't have and don't want. It is what I live my life by.

Changing the topic , today I weighed myself and it said 133 so I guess it's back down again from yesterday where I thought the scale was wrong. I went over to a couple of our friends house to celebrate her birthday. We had a couple of drinks and went home. we also, ate and had some food. It is so nice to be able to go to people's house and be able to sit and talk and converse . Share a plate of food and have a couple of drinks and say good night. We cherish friendships like that. There are a lot of people in the world and we are always in the defensive side. We are so afraid to let go of who we are because we feel people will take advantage of us ,abuse of us and not a lot are trustworthy, so when you can find a family that spiritualy feel the same way that you do it really is refreshing to be able to converse about the bible and teach one another . It's what God wanted from us in the first place.

My family after dinner went to Perkins and I tell you although we had to wait forever, the food that was prepared for us today was delicious. Thank you for this. I am really picky about what I eat now so I'm very self concious of what i'm putting in this body of mine.

What a day!!!!!!!!!

Glad it is over. First of I want to thank my heavenly father for waking me up this morning and allowing me to be able to go to work.
With this in mind , what a day at work. I should not complain because at least I'm working and there is so many people that has lost their job due to this recession that we just went through and a lot have not recover yet. Lord thaks for letting me get through. Shipment for May was delayed and June's was advance so a total of two months worth of shipment at one time. Very busy. The weather is not so great. I have a cold due to it but, at least I'm not suffering with allergies like a lot of people are. I had so much work I did not get to go to the bathroom till the end. I have my grandaughter here. She is three years old. She is so sweet. Makes me miss her when she is gone. She does not live here in Pa , so don't get to see her often.


My husband and I have a few days of fussing. So when I'm at work I usually use it to let out a lot of frustration. And I do. Believe me. I sometimes wonder what in the world our we fussing about in the first place. We have been married for 18 years. Don't you think by now we have fuss about everything and there is nothing left.

So in conclusion to this day it was an ordinary day. Nothing really special. I learn something today though, we all ask God for things. We expect things from him, but we are not willing to meet him half way. You know we want cars, house, good jobs, money, but we dont do nothing to try to get these things . Next time you ask god for something why, not do something first and them ask him for some favor towards you so that he knows you are serious...

Hello everyone Happy Mother"s Day ....

Remember your mom today out of all days . It is so important to say thanks and acknowledge your mom for all she does for you. I went to a new church today . I can honestly say I enjoyed it so much. It was like a wonderful spirit was inside that church through all the children. Some of them had written poems to there mother and others sang a song for them but it was wonderful. I was really impress and bless to be a guest at another church. A good sister in christ of mine had asked me to come so a little skeptical like I always am decided to go. I was pleased so I will go next week as well. Yesterday we celebrated my grandbaby"s first birthday. I was so happy to be able to be there with all the children and help my daughter for it was her first birthday party. Now she knows why a lot of people have only one child. Kids are a lot of work. I am enclosing some of the pics that my wonderful son took of this event. So no promises on the great photography.... Another thing guess what, I lost 7 1/2 pounds , I now weigh 130.8. The strict diet I put myself on and the discipline it takes is finally paying off. I just have to keep doing this though all the time so that nasty tea I told you'll about that my sister recommeded is finally paying off. So a big thanks to her.

Funny Tales...

Good Day everyone. Hope all is well and healthy. I've been trying to stick to this diet that I have decided that I needed and let me tell you it's been the worst. First of my wonderful sister(not) has recommended me this tea that has a fat blend loss and it tastes like crap literally. She was so determine to help me that she went out and bought it herself. How thoughtful? She wants whats best for me. So I love her for this.
I have been feeling under the weather so I have decided to take off a couple of days from work just to relax. Not working at all. I find myself looking for something to do and driving my poor husband crazy in the process. Don't know whats wrong with me. I stop drinking coffee and don't know how I feel about it yet. Never really was much of a caffeine freak but, I like the tastes early morning. I have been reading a lot of different books pertaining to biblical people. I"m reading now about King David. I always had wonder what made him so special. So I made it my business to read about him and now I can see why our creator chose him and was with him all the way even when he was wrong and sinned in so many ways. You can read about him if you like in the king james version bible in Samuel and second samuel.
I also like to read different things and i'm going to share something that I read. This was in the "our town " issue#69 of a bi-weekly publication that's distributed through different areas in our state. This joke that I"m about to tell you was submitted by an our town faithful reader and the name of the joke is

1st Bday

Today was my granddaughter's 1st birthday. I can not believe that a year has already gone by. It seems like she was just born , then again it seems like my daughter was just a small child herself.. I miss those days full of joy and laughter and sorrows all at the same time but, so worth it. I could have not lived my life any better. My husband and myself have had some rough times but , having get together's to celebrate life it just seems all worth it. We probably would not want to change anything even the bad.I was watching some all videos of when they were small. I mean my children as all of you know I had 4 myself. Now they are 21,20,19,16. They all seem to have their own family but when they come home and we all get together it just feels like it's home again. Cherish your little ones for as long as you can it goes by so fast, soon you would be like me just watching videos of those precious moments....

Good morning . Although here in the poconos it is about to rain,just to open my eyes is a blessing. Today my son and my nephew are speaking in church. Very happy. We need some happiness after all.

What a day ???? The lord has been with me very seriously. He has embraced my every move and has forgiven all my wrongs.

Went to the drs. Yesterday. Nothing wrong thank god but I might have thyroid issues. Other than that I'm bless . Working today is hard. First off it's Friday. A lot of traffic, second of all it's just a dreadful day..... Saw an accident this morning very tragic. Car crush in the back of a tractor trailer pray for that persons family. The rest of my day very eventful and full of hard work but so is everybody's life. So be happy, be bless and be thankful to god for your many blessings that have you stable in your world today.

Went to church today.. What a gorgeous day. It ws about 70 degrees here in Pa. Sunny skies and big clouds. WoWWWWWWW.... I have been taking a prophetic teaching class. It's very weird to me and yet a new experience. I am learning how to channel in with my spiritual side. There are 9 spirituals gifts. Wisdom, knowledge,healing, faith, working miracles,prophesy,discerning of the spirits,speaking in tongues and interprtation of tongues. Now every believer of Christ have been given spirituals gifts. And the gifts belong to God and are given for the believer to use for the Glory of God. When we receive a gift from God, we have to use it with love and patience. Although you might not use the gift given to you right, He will not take it back. You will however pay the price later. I was told to read Philipians 1:6... I suggest you do the same... Hello to all,

Today was a surprising day. It was in some areas 85 degrees and to top it all of it's only April 7,2010. Just the begining of spring. Not complaining at all but, it just goes to show you how not in control we are of the world that we live in today. It's nature is so beautiful that it is overwhelming to sometimes see. I drive a distance to work, approximately 2 hours and I see so much nature that it captures me everytime I see a sunrise or set. Unfortunately i'm on the road that long that I see the day and night. It makes me say thank you even more to our creator and almighty God and give him praises for a job well done.....

I had some bad news today that had me very sadden but, I had a visit from an old friend whom I use to talk to often and she was able to console me and in actuality it was just an answer to my prayer because I was just telling my husband a few days ago how much I miss my friend. When I felt bad she had always put a smile on my face and I sometimes need that . Not saying that I don't get that from my husband but it is different.It was good to see her. To all of you stay positive. There is someone out there with worst problems than you ....

I had the best time listening to my fellow brothers and sisters give the words of the lord with such conviction. For all of those who read my blog and don't know much about me, I go to a church that teaches the bible very thoroughly and allows us to do assignments like minituare sermons. We get a scripture or a person from the bible and elaborate on what we feel has happen or took place at this specific time. I have gotten so much closer to my spiritual side that I do not anger as much as I use to and have more peace in my life. I do not let things get to me and no matter what happens in my life, I just have to remember that Jesus walk the cross to his death and never complain and pick us to die for. There is nothing else that I can endure that would take the place of that. So no matter how bad it is, our choice makes a big difference. Jesus chose us so that we can be saved. If you do not understand what I mean, read from the King James Version of the bible in Numbers 16:20-36

This song was sang in almost all churches today.. Let's remember that today Jesus our saviour resurrected and rose from the dead as prophesized by the prophets in our Old testament. I just want to say "Thank You Jesus" for hanging on that cross and dieing for me and for the sins of all mankind. My Baby

It's an amazing feeling being a grandmother. I always thought I was to young to be a grandma and that my husband and myself needed to be at least 65 to be a good grandparent. We had the privilidge to watch our grandaughter due to some emergency that my daughter had with her in laws. Needless to say we were not prepared because you literally have to rest up and have days off of work in order for you to be prepared to babysit, but can I tell you that I think this is why God gave me the honor to have grandchildren early. So that I and my husband can enjoy to be parents all over again. Kind of do the thins that we could not afford to do when we had our own and we were so poor. Not that we are rich now but, we our more financially fit to deal with situations different than we where before . Also to play with them. My grandaughter has grown so much in the past month that I already see a difference in her little character and personality. She loves her grandfather to death. All she wants to do is play and she has such a way with the way that she is , its literally impossible to say no to her...

Love your children every moment, but love your grandchildren even more because this is your second chance in parenthood....

My beautiful pastor and teacher has decided that we the congregation take a prophetic teaching course... We are learning at college level and will receive a certificate afetr we are finish if we take all 14 classes and past the test at the end.
We are so lucky to take all our courses free of charge and all we pay is the manuals. That's what you call a blessing... This is why I tell you I love my Pastor. She is always there no matter what and that is something that you can not find in a lot of pastor's/preacher today. If it's not sunday or if you have not made an appointment you will never get through. Ours is always working for the Lord 24/7....

We are getting ready to do events for our church through our women's fellowship and throughout the summer some plan events...If anyone is in Pa and in our town or close enough they would like to join please feel free to do so.. You will really enjoy. We also have a prayer line that we are honor to have so that we may pray as a congregation and share our prayer to God.

Introduction

The first step is in this method is the INTRODUCTION: " This is what I am going to talk about today, and this is why the text and the topic are important". The second step is the presentation of the sermon argument and application. The third step is a reiteration of the message and a reinforcement of the sermon outcome you are hoping to achieve. Following are some additional options but keep in mind that no matter what approach you take, a good solid first sentence is in order:

1) Begin with a question or observation drawn from the biblical text that offers an angle of vision from which the passage will be considered. ie" I wonder what went wrong through Noah's mind when God told him to build that ark?
2) Begin with stating a problem of national, congregational or personal that needs to be solved, from gesting how the text can offer guidance or even a solution to that problem. ie: 85 ytation taken ears after women received the right to vote in America, they are still denied the right to preach the Gospel in many of this county"s pulpits...
3) Begin with a quoatation taken from your readings or comments you have heard from others , or from tv or the newspapers. ie: " In explaining his conduct with Monica Lewinsky, Bill Clinton wrote these words in his autobiography: " I did it because I could".
4) Begin with a comment that fixes the occasion at which the people have gathered: Funeral, church anniversary, ordination when the occasion is clear to the people, they can all focus on that common event or experience. ie: Today is worldwide communion Sunday, and all around the world our brothers and sisters in christ are joining us in rememberance of our Lord's suffering, death and resurrection.

Argument: The argument constitutes the body of the sermon several types are rooted in the thetoric of ancient greece and rome and have been adapted for use in debates as well as in political disclosure. Preachers should be aware of them because each of them can easily be used in the crafting (putting together) of the sermon.

A priori is an argument that works from cause to effect. This argument states that as a result of a certain act or fact a certain outcome or consequence can be expected . ie : Consider Romans 10:9 or Romans 6:23 or Judges21:25 the key to this preaching device is to point out the consequences , both positive and negative , for virtually every action we take in life..
A Posteriori: is an argument that works from effect or outcome backward to the cause. It asks why things are the way they are. Arguments that are a part of the raging debate about the origins of the universe are a posteriori argument . ie: consider Romans10:13-17, The effect, or finished product is stated first" Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." The text then works backward to explore what causes people to be saved.
Sometimes the shape of the biblical text may determine the shape of a ser,ons argument... In other words, the movements, within the scripture text might be used to determine the points to be made in the sermon: Many times all one needs to do is preach the sermon that is built into the text.

Sermon Design

The two most important sentences in a sermon are the first sentences and the last ones...How a sermon begins has great bearing on how likely it is that , people; especially those with short attention span or have a busy schedule all the time, are going to pay attention to what a preacher has to preach. Even with narrative sermons an introduction plays an important role in getting people into. The story. What the preacher wants to do in that brief moment of introduction is to make a connection between the content of the sermon that has been prepared and the congregation that has gathered on that day....

The purpose of the introduction in a sermon is to hint at the matter to be discussed.In the sermon in a way that establishes interest in the topic among the listeners. An introduction should not consist of small talk, pointless anecdotes or the formalities of acknowledging and greeting the congregation. Nor should it be confused with the first point in a three point sermon. An introduction is a targeted and intentional act with one purpose and one purpose only: to establish interest in the topic for the day and to make a case for why it is urgent or beneficial for the people gathered that day to hear what is about to be said.

There are a variety of ways to shape an introduction. Most preachers use a type of three point sermon method beyond the dialectic method we spoke about previously, that consists of the following: 1) Tell them what are you going to tell them; 2) tell them; and 3) tell them what you have told them.

What a test????

This is my home. I have lived here since 2005. Not very long yet, it seems like an eternity. Even though I love my home ,I have had some bad moments that I have allowed in my life. With my new found love for Jesus I want to start a new home and I want to find a home that will help me just do that. As you would think that house hunting would be easier and people would be more than eager to rent there house or even buy. What a test???? Makes me love my home an pray even harder....

what a Beautiful and a disappointing day!!!!!!!

Even though the day started out beautiful as usual there is something that you will find to complain about..

My sister's in christ and myself had the privilidge delivering a word that was put upon us by the lord himself. I know this sounds crazy to some people. I myself thought it was insane at first , I kept thinking how such a sinner like myself can be spoken to by GOD and be given a word....

As I read the bible to find something I can deliver to my church family and to any of those who come in contact with me, I ended up reading the new testament a lot. I was plause by reading Matthew... I don't know if you're familiar with the Bible but I read of the King James Version and just recently I was told that the red letters on the Bible in the New Testament mean that those words were spoken by Jesus . Needless to say that I got really nervous. If you know the Bible like myself , then that means you know nothing. It has literally taken me over 20 years to try to understand what I'm reading. But I found out that all you have to do is pray and open your heart you can get all the messages of the Bible as if you had lived there yourself.
So as I openly read the Bible in the book of Matthew, Jesus is talking to everyone and he's telling us to seek the kingdom of God but, for those of us who believe and have faith, we do not have enough... Examples of real faith, in Genesis 6 we learn about one faithful man...
Noah. He was a just man and found favor in Gods eyes ,so he was chosen to build an ark and was told by God he can only bring his wife and his three kids and their wives. The Lord also told him that he was upset with the worl at that time and he was going to drown it and with him he was going to start a new land... What Faith that must have been to build and ark put your family in it and yourself and wait for the earth to be drown...

We also see in Genesis 22 that Abraham was tempted by God and he was told to sacrifice his child and give him up as a burnt offering. As if this wasn't enough . So Abraham faithfully was going to give his. That was faith as well.............................
